Came specifically to try the 'thali' following previous amzing experience of trying samosa and fish combo. Of course they beat expectations of everyone in my family. Fresh food and enough serving size of multiple items in the thali at unexpectedly low price. Amazing customer service. Had to wait for some time but we could have reduced waiting time by calling earlier to prepare, as they said, they cook after they get the order.

Vegetarian options: Amazing combination of items

A hidden gem, where you can find authentic Nepalese and Indian food. They make their food tasty, clean, and not oily.

Had the lunch special a couple times now and it was very good. The portion sizes are very big for the cost. Service is great, the people who work there are very kind. They will make the food however spicy you want it. I highly recommend this restaurant, great tasting food with excellent service. This is my new go to for lunch.

Worst Samosa ever. They are so oily and smelly you gonna end up hurting your throat. Me and my family is coughing since we had few bites. We had to throw them all in Garbage. Never going there again!! Its close to our house thats why we tried it but nah its better to travel some extra distance then eating such a unhealthy food.

This restaurant is on 91 Street towards Ellerslie. It is situated inside a complex consisting of many other businesses with ample, free parking .
The chef is good and the food was tasty. The price is reasonable and quantity was large. As its mostly a take out place, the ambience is not impressive and service was not bad but not good either.
The cuisine is from North India and Nepal . One fact that I noticed is the food was not greasy with oil . In most Indian restaurants this is an issue but thankfully in New Mountains Village restaurant the food tasted healthy and flavorful.
The pricing is good and so is the quantity per portion.
