Great prices for dim sum. My wife and I along with my parents ate there before our show at citadel. 11 dishes came to roughly $85. Lots of shrimp dishes.

Business travel to Edmonton downtown, tried to find a Chinese restaurant to have hot soup and dim sum, and “new tan tan” popped up in my top search, three hundred reviews with 4.2 made me make the bad decision. I have to say the taste of almost every dish is no good at all, not even to average level. Blood taste is in all the meet and shrimp dish, wonton soup as well. Good point of the restaurant is location, and the washroom is clean.

Sorry, no pictures of food but this is a great place for Dim Sum. We had not been here for a long time but it does not disappoint. Everyone has their favourites but we love the rice rolls, and anything shrimp. The sticky rice is yummy and yes we ordered the chicken feet ( not for everyone, but that can be a food adventure). The sui mai, minced pork & shrimp dumplings were scrumptious of course! Deep fried squid is a good choice as well. Anyways, we will be back with more people next time. Oh, and street parking is a better deal than the lot but make sure you pay or you'll get a ticket. If you're going on Sunday, make a trip to the Farmers Market just up the street on your way home, it's a beautiful day!

I walked into the restaurant this morning to try their coffee.The woman at the front didn’t acknowledge me at all. After waiting for 5 mins, I walked up to her and asked her if I could order a coffee. She yelled “no” and walked away.I was deeply embarrassed in front of a large group of people who were already seated and eating. Eventually, I had to walk out of the restaurant. I was left feeling humiliated.I can take a “no” and understand if a certain item is not available but there is a big difference between telling a customer that you don’t have the item they want, versus behaving in such an ignorant manner and humiliating them in front of others.
Don't understand why people can give them such a high review in Google that's why I went to this place at first time. Than I got food poisoning after this meal. Dimsum tast not fresh such as shrimp dumplings, some were over cook and plain , some were over seasoning , staem pork rib tast like rubber . Just go west jumbo seafood restaurant to have the right Dimsum if you looking for good food.

My favourite restaurant!i’ve been coming to this restaurant with my family ever since i was 4 so around 13 years! always have loved the food and the owners are very kind and fast.Kid-friendliness: very quiet place, not crowded and kids are always welcomed we’ve brought my nieces a couple of timesParking: Just around the corner there are lots of space for parking everytime we come, you just have to pay but i won’t complain
