PLACE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED - I drove by it yesterday (May 30, 2025) and they were putting up signs for ‘New Way Liquor’. The stars are for what the pizza used to be like about a year ago, it was a pretty decent pizza spot. It’s too bad it’s no longer.

Went there because google maps said it was OPEN. Fighting my way through traffic with all the construction around only to find out the place is closed. I even called, no answer. He called me back to tell me that it's open. What a waste of time

Food was good but there wasn't much sauce on the pizza. The ground beef looked like it was shaved like chocolate and tasted like it was freeze dried. Not sure what the pizza was going for so it was very different for me.

Ordered donair pizza, No sauce whatso ever. The whole pizza was Dry Meat was overcooked. Called to complain of no sauce on the pizza and just recieved answering machine. Pizza is still sitting in my fridge, going to go in the trash...sadly

Was a hot day. They were doing the best they could with the heat.
This was my first time ordering from NWP, and the pizza was just okay. The crust was overcooked, which was a letdown. The flavors and toppings were underwhelming and could have used a bit more.
I might order again because the price is decent, but the size was misleading. They advertise it as X-Large, but it was more like a large, so I’m curious about their actual large size.

Service was ok but they didn't have my order ready when I was told, took them 10 extra minutes because part of the order was missing when I arrived.

When I first found out about this place 3 years ago I was impressed by the quality of the food at the price point. It was hard for me to believe the quality was so much better but yet the prices were some of the cheapest in town.
Went in to meet the new owners and pick up a few pizzas the other night. A few things are noticeable right away; the sauce is slightly different, the crust is lot drier and less tasty than it was before, and the toppings/cheese are very sparse. I asked for double pepperoni and it was not doubled, as well as extra cheese and got a regular amount.
I think overall the food is still ok, but no longer the quality it used to be. Although I would be upset if the price went up, i’d rather pay more and keep the quality up, rather than sacrifice the quality of the pizzas.
As others have said, I will be giving this location a break and coming back in the future. Hopefully by then they have had time to adjust and take in feedback. For now, this spot went from a hidden gem to another average pizza location, and in my opinion we have enough of those in this city.

Give this place one more try. They're under new ownership and it is absolute garbage. There is no flavor in it whatsoever . I would actively avoid this place at this point Little Caesars tastes better. The dough the cheese the ingredients. All just garbage. You can tell some low budget moron bought this just to make it fail. Even the woman answering the phone cuts you off making you say things 3 or 4 times. Went from best in the city to another north side dump serving trash
