The best beef satay. Other nhon hoa places do not do it like this location.
I be getting sandwich and its yum dot com
Sometimes I buy two sandwiches
Sometimes I buy three sandwiches
Whatās it to ya, bub?
You want me to buy four sandwiches?
Iāll buy five just to spite you.
Maybe a rice meal too.
Iāve been craving a shredded pork with lots of jalapeno lately. Phantom pregnancy cravings because I canāt get pregnant. Itās very sad because I know my baby would enjoy the satay chicken. If I could have children, Iād name them Combo 1 Any Sub + 2 Spring Rolls + Pop $ 13.95
Great little spot for a quick bite on a hot day. Fresh fruit bubble tea, salad rolls, vermicelli, Vietnamese subs... what more could you ask for?
There are 2 small tables inside and 2 small bistro size tables outside.
Free one hour parking around the corner in front of medical supply store or paid parking out front on Whyte (But 15 minutes is free!)
This has been my go to this dance comp season when I've got 1-2 hours to kill while my kiddo prepares to perform at the U of A. In the winter/colder months I like Remedy on 109th to kill time (free parking when you register your license plate).
This week I had fresh fruit mango bubble tea (excellent and not too sweet), Vietnamese iced coffee (sweeter than I prefer so next time I'd ask for more ice or add a little water), and satay beef salad rolls (decent for a quick to go).
The fresh baguettes baking in the back smelled divine but I didn't feel like eating much with this 27 degree early May heat.
Two thumbs up!
PS Cash and debit only!
The beef sate is delicious every time. But I ordered a āfresh fruitā bubble tea and it was not fresh at all.
Please do not advertise fresh fruit if you use powder. My avocado bubble tea tasted like clay. It was so disappointing.
This place has some of the cheapest and tastiest Vietnamese subs around! Their combo is such a steal. I always go for the pork sub ā so good. Iām still sad they got rid of the green tapioca with condensed milk dessert; it was my favorite!
Delicious!
Very friendly service, fantastic sandwiches!
This place is fantastic. A real treat every time

I used to eat at this joint when I lived nearby and they had great price, great portion, great food.
The best in-and-out Vietnamese place for quick quality subs! Always fresh, always friendly, always busy.
Usually get the satay chicken sub. It's so good
I love supporting this place. It's been a staple in Edmonton for ages. The food is consistent, quick, fairly priced, and delicious !
This tiny jewel is incredible. I had the satay beef banh mi, my kid had the shredded chicken. Fantastic sandwiches - bread was the proper level of crunch, veggies were well portioned and the meat was incredible. The satay is a mild level of spice - from the colour of the sauce I was fearful but it was just perfect balance of flavour and heat. Canāt wait to go back! And for under $10, this was a steal.
