We visited today for lunch and was very surprised with the ramen bowls. The Tan Tan, Tonkotsu, and Black Garlic bowls were all excellent and is by far the best ramen we have had in Edmonton.
Their menu is large and should have something for everyone. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Not sure how this place is still opened, I've tried to go here more than 2 dozen times. Always closed. And to finally eat here after 1 year I was dissatisfied. Service was non existent. Was pricey as well, atmosphere was well what atmosphere. I felt super rushed to leave, staff staring as if I was imposing on something. Just a pass all together.

The dining area is bigger than I expected, and the decor is full of Japanese vibe, especially in the design of the sushi bar.
I love Japanese restaurants that offer lunch bento because they allow people to enjoy a variety of dishes all at once and mix and match their selections.
For my Lunch Bento, I chose sashimi, which included salmon, hamachi and hokkigai. The hokkigai was arranged in a spiral pattern, which surprised me the most. It came with scallions, red onion, kelp, shredded daikon, pickled ginger, wasabi and lemon slices. The presentation was absolutely stunning.
It also included tempura with shrimp, zucchini, eggplant and yam, all lightly coated in tempura batter and fried to perfection. The California Maki was rolled with plenty of crab meat, avocado and mayo, topped with sesame seeds. The salad contained cherry tomatoes and shredded cabbage with yuzu vinegar, which balanced the greasiness of the fried items. It also came with rice.
My husband ordered Bara Don, which included assorted diced sashimi such as red tuna, salmon, hamachi, scallop, ikura and tobiko, along with cucumber, scallions, seaweed, pickled ginger and wasabi served with rice. The portion was generous.
This combo also included an optional side dish, which my husband chose to be grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce. It was juicy, and it came with a salad of cherry tomatoes and shredded cabbage with yuzu vinegar, hiyashi wakame and edamame, making for a rich combo with a good balance of vegetables.
Both of our combos included miso soup, which contained tofu, kelp and scallions.
The staff were sooooooooo friendly and helpful. The food was unexpectedly perfect, and the prices for lunch were quite reasonable.

The waiter's attitude was okay, but the tuna sashimi was so meaty that it made you spit in your mouth, and the salmon sashimi was not fresh.
Would like a different variety of meat for the ramen also the ramen noodles may need some tweeking its to thick and no crunch. but over all is good. Chicken Karage was delicious! best I've ever had. Definitely will be coming back.
