We’ve come to NongBu so many times and have always left very satisfied with the food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for some good Korean food on Whyte Ave.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The food is incredibly delicious, always very fresh, and the staff is very friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. We appreciate the attention to detail in every dish, and the service is consistently excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Nongbu is one of my favourite places to eat in Edmonton. The Spicy o-Sam and cheese ramyun/kimchi jeon are soooo good!

Do not waste your money the food here is bland. No flavour at all. Do not order the beef hotpot (bulgogi jeongol). I informed the server that there was no flavour and asked for something to bring some flavour and she brought some sauce that did nothing. I felt horrible for spending my hard earned money $35 so I asked for it to be send back but they continued to refuse. I ended up getting 15% off. But that’s only $5.25 off. There are other way better Korean restaurants. Do not waste your money here.

Dined in on a very cold mid week evening so we had the place to ourselves. However, our server made us feel very welcome and at home. His drink and food recommendations were spot on! We enjoyed a variety of foods served hot, fresh, and delicious!

The food is so expensive and the portion are getting much smaller than previous years!!! The food doesn’t taste as good as before. And the food is not adjustable as I told them to make it less spicy and they would not! Also, The restaurant does not accept cash!!! this is very frustrating when I only carried cash out then the waitress make my friend paid for me. Why r u having business when u don’t accept cash??? And u didn’t put a sign out saying No to cash

It didn't give me a good experience, the serving was exceptionally slow and the food was not authentic or tasty to me. It's a torture to my taste buds ?

IMAGINE THIS. You decide to dine here just before your weekly curling game. A surprisingly warm Wednesday November evening and the restaurant is quite nice. Food is good but it’s more like good drinking food ya feel? Anyways, pre solid boss.

Nong Bu was one of the first restaurants many years that lead the renaissance of new Korean fusion dining to hit the scene in Edmonton. Just off Whyte Avenue, this was often considered one of the top 5 eateries in YEG. Since that time, Korean establishments have seen an explosion in the city from traditional to modern to street eclectic eating.Nong Bu still has the same level of super service and a very cool dining space with old Korean films playing on the wall high above where everyone is eating. The food is all of a very good quality and very well presented. It is delicious! The menu is a bit more limited than some of the other Korean restaurants that now offer a wide array of various eats. Though Nong Bu's menu may be more succinct, they stick to what they do well and it seems to work for them.A super experience in Korean food if you are ever in the Whyte Avenue area.4 x ????

genuinely this place changed my life. the pork bulgogi literally cured my hangover the second the plate hit the table. and the free banchan refills? stop. i love this place so much, i would live here if they’d let me. 1000/10. shoutout to my server for existing and not judging me for the amount of food i ordered.
