Extremely disappointing experience at Nosh Restaurant, Edmonton. We were among the first customers of the day, (Family of 4)and the server assured us everything was fresh. However, the sambar served to us was very watery with no traces of dal and the worst part is it was spoiled and had a foul smell. When we raised the issue, instead of apologizing or offering a replacement, the waiter insisted it was freshly made and showed no regret.
Unfortunately, after eating there, I ended up with food poisoning and stomach issues. This raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene at this establishment.
I strongly urge Edmonton health authorities to inspect this place. For anyone considering dining here, please avoid it—there are far better and safer options in the city.

We waiting over 30 minutes to be acknowledged. We were the only people in the restaurant, we expected a little more. There were two other people that came in after us and they were served before us. We had a butter chicken dosa. It was pretty bland and the Dosa itself was dry and tasted stale unfortunately. We won't be returning based on the service (or lack of) but the food also was very disappointing. We decided that we would forgive the terrible service if the food was a win, sadly it wasn't. At least prices were not over the top. Bummed about thus review as we were very much looking forward to trying it out.

Nosh is always excellent, both take out and dine in. Superb flavours and a good menu selection. Fish pakoras are fantastic, and their chai is the best I've had. Five stars !

I've been a fan of Nosh since I first stumbled hungover into their original location on Stoney Plain road, right in the adult massage parlor and pawn store district. The food was amazing, so it's no surprise that 10 years later they're up to three high-end locations. Would recommend.
Awesome food and prices. The Aloo Gobi Wrap is my go to order.

So they are offering free biryani voucher to everyone on Facebook but once you go to collect it they give a notice that you have to buy something worth of 25 Cad in order to get the free biryani. Although on the voucher nothing is mention like that. Trying to do legal scam what a waste never ever going there or recommending someone to go there

Although the small mistake was from the kitchen (nothing major at all), Ishv handled it with such kindness and professionalism. The way Nosh Cafe responded truly impressed us — they offered two complimentary chicken fried rice dishes, which was such a generous gesture. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how a place responds makes all the difference. Nosh food is always delicious, and this experience just reminded us why we keep coming back. Thank you again, Ishv and the Nosh team.
