At first glance, Grow Women Leaders appears to be a supportive organization for immigrant and vulnerable women, with a polished website and messaging that suggests care and empowerment. However, in practice, it operates more like a corporate entity focused primarily on metrics and appearances. The real goal seems to be collecting data to report high numbers to funders, rather than providing meaningful support or follow-up for the women they claim to serve. There's little genuine engagement—no real listening or ongoing support. Once you're in their system, the contact you receive feels more like sales outreach, with repeated calls or messages pushing you to buy tickets for their summits or events. It’s disappointing to see an organization that markets itself as community-focused prioritize profit and optics over impact.
Very clean facility.
Wonderful place to come and get work done, food is amazing and staff/workers are very kind. All the food is freshly made, so there is a slight wait time nothing to crazy, but it is 100% worth it.
In a modest corner of a local cafeteria, we encountered a culinary experience that defies simple description. The humble burger, a symbol of gastronomic simplicity, transformed into something much greater—a metaphor for time, care, and imperfection.
The bun, at first glance, promised a perfect balance of textures but revealed two contrasting personalities: gently steamed on one side, evoking a summer evening in a greenhouse, and charred on the other, adding a layer of mature drama. This juxtaposition, seemingly inspired by life’s inherent contrasts, imbued the dish with a quiet philosophy.
The fries, that unassuming companion of any burger, seemed to resist their destiny. Crumbly and slightly undercooked, they transported us back to childhood, when every bite of food was imbued not with a quest for perfection but with a desire to bring warmth. Their imperfection whispered, “Do you remember how the kitchen smelled when Mom hurriedly cooked, trying to manage everything at once?” This melody of nostalgia filled the air, turning an ordinary meal into a deeply personal memory.
This meal is not for those seeking technical precision or mastery celebrated by Michelin-starred chefs. It is for those ready to embrace a gastronomic meditation where imperfection becomes art, and flavor evokes memory. The dish felt like a postcard from the past, where care was measured not in stars but in kindness and love.
Does this meal deserve Michelin stars? Perhaps not. But did it earn our smiles and a gentle longing for bygone days? Absolutely.
Ordered a salad , payed $8 for just 2 pieces of tomato and 4 pieces of Cucumber with little lettuce. Way pricey!!!
