my boyfriends family and i went here to celebrate his fathers birthday. We waited 10 minutes to even be asked about drinks and another 15 to even get them. There seemed to be only 2 servers working and one seemed to be a manager. My boyfriends mother ordered the avocado toast and the avocados were so unripe she couldn't mash them, as well the potatoes she had were unseasoned and most were dry and rock hard. My boyfriend ordered the casedilla and aside from the MASSIVE chunks of onion bigger than quarters there were multiple gray hairs baked into the cheese. My boyfriend’s sister and I had french toast and it was a disaster. They used sour dough which made the crust impossible to cut so we just ate the middle. They tried to caramelize them but they just ended up burning them. The whip cream was straight from a can and they didn't bother to cut the stems off the strawberries. There was chocolate sauce on the french toast that was not disclosed on the menu, am I surprised though? No, because nothing was. As well the menus were dirty, covered in what looked like coffee and who knows what else. There wasn’t any atmosphere unless you count old tables from what seemed to be a fast food chain. When we were tipping we tipped about 9% percent (which i know is a little low) due to our negative experience, the waitress scrunched her nose and was visibly upset which is odd considering she didn’t visit us once unless it was to bring food or fill up coffee once the whole 2 hours we were there. Would not recommend unless you're looking for overpriced food you could make for much much cheaper and better at home.

Went and visited NV tonight. We ordered the fish and chips and the risotto. The risotto was ok, but the fish and chips tasted moldy. It was a two piece meal and the second piece is what tasted off. We had one bite and let the server know. No real acknowledgement and no discount taken off the bill. We tried to support our local restaurant, but unfortunately not a great experience and won't be going back. Need to do better to earn our dollars.

Don't order the quesidilla, it was so oily it was dripping everywhere. The contents oozed out as well as the delicious burnt taste. I really liked the staff and the place itself but the meal was atrocious.

Went today for lunch the waitress was lovely the food was delicious
Got the beef dip calamari was so good
Also my daughter loved hers a chicken club.
Yummy food! Everything was flavourful and burger was homemade and was a touch spicy (good spicy ☺️).
Three of us for lunch, the butter chicken was aromatic and perfectly spiced. The linguine portioned well and the flavour profile was perfect!
The atmosphere was just not what I expected (it was small and too quiet), which some people would love! However, it was nice and clean and welcoming.
Only 1 minor suggestion, and that would be to have the beer mugs chilled and frosted!
I’ll be back!

Great little hidden Bistro. Great food , small menu but very good. Drinks are super pricey but the ambience makes it worth it .

We have been to NV many times and the food is always so good! Because of this, we decided to have our wedding rehearsal dinner at NV and we were so pleased with how everything went. Our guests were blown away with how great all of the dishes were and we were so happy with the service and communication and professionalism. They closed down the restaurant for us to host a private event and were available to accommodate any of our guests needs. We definitely recommend visiting this local gem!

10/10 recommending this place.
The food is very delicious and clean.
The attention to detail in their ingredients is superb.
One of the items we ordered was the kids fruit bowl. The presentation was on point and they took off all of the white bits on the oranges !
I had the brisket brisket bowl and was blown away with how much meat was given. I am a big guy and eat ALOT.
This bowl really satisfied me and tasted great.
My wife had the avocado toast which came with a generous amount of avocado and marinated tomato’s. She really enjoyed it.
The food is 10/10
Service is 10/10

I recently had an amazing dining experience at NV Restaurant on 199 Street. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Taylor & Chef Meet , were attentive, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit.
The food? Simply incredible! We ordered the NV Spicy Butter Chicken Bowl , which was rich and flavorful, and the NV Fire Burger, a perfect blend of spice and gourmet ingredients. Both dishes tasted like pure luxury but came at a very fair price. If you’re looking for a place that combines high-quality food with great service, NV Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended & look forward to future visits with our friends & colleagues!!

Amazing experience!!! Glad I decided to visit this Edmonton’s hidden gem on one of my friend’s suggestion. They got absolutely amazing food!! We tried their Pesto chicken linguine, crispy corn fitters and NV burger!! Must try!! Very resonable price for 5 star quality food. They also got patio open only for summers. Best place for brunch and dinner. highly recommended.
