Love coming here on my lunch break or after work with my partner. I am part greek and the Oil Lamp really makes me feel like I am having food again with my Greek family.

We went here just before a concert at the Winspear. Had the chicken souvlaki, tried the spanokopita and even had some baklava for dessert. Unreal flavors, super friendly service, and a great and warm atmosphere. This is a great gem downtown, highly recommend it.

The food here had perfect Greek flavours — fresh, well-seasoned, and really enjoyable. The only downside was the service; our server seemed a bit overwhelmed and came across as slightly rude, which affected the experience. Still, the taste of the food itself was fantastic and worth trying.

The roast lamb was bland and chewy, and the rice tasted stale, as if it had been left over from a previous day. Overall, I was disappointed.

Stopped here for the lunch special after a day at the RAM - the food was fresh and flavourful, the service so friendly, and the atmosphere beautiful. Will be back :)

A cozy, atmospheric spot — like a little piece of Greece. Friendly service, delicious lunch, and generous portions. Definitely coming back!

We went here before our concert at the Winspear Center. The Oil Lamp is run by the cutest elderly couple. The food is amazing, and the place has its charm. Nice selection of wines and beers to complement your food. We had the Chicken Souvlaki and the Beef Gyro. The chicken was moist and perfectly done, packed with flavor. The owner also gave us complimentary Hummus and Tatziki dip along with fresh pita as our starters. Definitely recommend it, and we will definitely be back. Gotta try some more of those amazing dishes. Oh, they are also very reasonably priced.

Lovely mom and pop establishment that serves authentic greek food. Nicely decorated interior that creates a relaxed atmosphere. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced as were other menu items. Highly recommend.

This was a cute little place that was well worth the trip. Beautiful inside if a little shabby from the outside. So don't let that fool you!
Food was excellent-a touch heavy on the lemon in spots. But overall excellent quality.
Great people and a fantastic atmosphere.

Love this spot - everything about it is character.

If you’re staying downtown, support this place!

The food is great but overpriced for the portion size . A lunch special should not cost 18 dollars for a tiny salad and a spanakopita
