A group of 6 of us came for lunch on Tuesday. The place is quaint and cosy. The food was OK. We were told that there would be an 18% gratuity for 6 . I have never heard of this anywhere else, it is usually 8 or more. The service was not worth that tip. One of the servers had long braids that were not tied back and brushed the dishes. We were each brought a glass of water but were not offered refills. We had to ask for everything else. 3 of us ordered the roast beef panini, although it tasted fine it was like a thin toasted sandwich. The prices were fine but the tip was not. The server we had when we first sat down was fine but disappeared right after we ordered. Two of our ladies stated that they would not return and i would only return if I could denote my own tip.

Quaint and delicious. We went here for brunch as a random choice. I'm very glad we did.

I had brisket eggs benny. The flavour was perfection and the portion was enough to leave me perfectly satisfied.

For drink I had a london fog that was well made and I was able to top it off with hot water too.

The decor was wonderful. So much to look at and take in and our server was attentive. We had questions about the afternoon tea they offer. She provided every detail we asked about, including allergy accommodation.

Only downside was the drafty window and door we were sat next too. It's an old building so it is expected.

I experienced this cute and cozy Cafe for their high tea. The sandwiches were delectable and the sweets were great. I only wish more than one serving of tea was included.

Blocks 118 Avenue lane and never see customes. That should not be allowed. Higher density living means more traffic and that lane closer is unacceptable. That patio area should be for parking.
