Olive is a hidden gem. Nestled in Albany, north Edmonton, this cozy restaurant is the epitome of authenticity and culture. I’ve tried everything on the menu at least once and they do not disappoint. Portions are quite large, so you have leftovers for another meal. The cuisine is flavourful and meets every expectation.
Service is exceptional. You’re greeted with a warm smile, almost feels as though I’m invited to a family dinner. The owners, Serdor and Faisal are humble, kind and generous. They put every effort into making your experience a memorable one. Mariam is part of their team and she is always attentive and courteous. Olive has become a weekly treat in my household. If you value service, taste and quality, definately check this place out!

We ordered a total of 3 dishes. The food was absolutely delicious except for the lamb shank, which was dry and seemed to have been cooked maybe the day before. The owner was very hospitable and welcoming. But would we dine in? Not really. The ambience and decor aren’t as refined for a sit-in/dine-in experience. Great food though.

I had a wonderful time at Olive Turkish Cuisine last night. The food was spectacular - the Kebabs were perfectly charred and cooked to perfection - they chicken was done perfectly. Nothing was overcooked. My friends and I each got a Trio Platter and there was enough food to take for lunch today. Great value, great food and the service was wonderful! Our waitress was very kind and attentive, and the Chef came out to check on us as well. I am very impressed :)

What made the experience even more special was the outstanding service from the waitress, who was professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. She made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit and offered helpful recommendations with a warm smile.Huge thanks to the restaurant management for maintaining such a high level of organization and service.
