We took the vegan cooking class…..it was like getting to learn that old “secret family recipe” that everyone loves! We learned by watching and writing down important tips as Kedi ( and her partner) talked about the ingredients, when to add them, and how important quality spices are. We also helped chop, add ingredients and of course took turns stirring the mixture so we could feel and smell the difference as the food changed textures and smells during the cooking process....
Love this place. We went last night. The owners are wonderful and take pride in their food, heritage, and restaurant. We had an amazing experience here. The food is to die for. The flavors are the best Ethiopian we've had in Edmonton. Definitely will be back. THIS IS A MUST TRY IN EDMONTON
First experience with Ethiopian cuisine. My first instinct was a bit skeptical since I've never been to a restaurant inside a house before, but maybe I should go to more house restaurants since it was a great experience all around.The food is seriously tasty. We ordered 1 each of the beef, chicken, red lentil, and yellow lentil. Everything was delicious, and the sauce on the chicken is amazing. Not even sure how to describe it but I'd say it's kind of like Indian...
