There are MANY places to get a donair in YEG, and we all have our favorites & I've just found mine! It may be kinda 'outta the way' (it's tucked away in Riverbend) but for me the drive is worth it. This Father/Son team does it right! Lots of fresh quality ingredients, and homemade sauces. Nothing is rushed, just put together and proudly presented with an uncommonly personable and genuinely friendly service. My highest recommendation goes to Olympus Donair.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was beyond excellent! The staff were incredibly welcoming and always had a warm smile on their faces. And to top it all off, since it was a hot day, they offered us complimentary watermelon such a thoughtful gesture! You have to visit this restaurant you’ll feel genuinely welcomed every time.

The owner and all staff are so friendly and welcoming. One of the most delicious , mouthwatering and real meat burger I have taste…. halal as well. It was so good and we were hungry 🤤 so I could not take any photos 😁😁
Very kind staff. Noticed us waiting outside for our order because it was warm in the restaurant (on an already warm day), so a member of the staff came and offered us an apology for the warm indoor temperature and some candy 😊

This is the best donair in Edmonton. I have been coming here for over 10 years. The meat, sauces and variety in toppings are the strong points for me. I don't live in the area any more so I tried branching out to other locations that were closer to me but the other donairs could not fully satisfy me. I concluded that if I'm craving a donair, I definitely just need to spend the extra time and drive to Olympus donair.
