We got the hoagie and porchetta sandwiches and both were not very flavourful which was disappointing for how expensive it is.
Best part of the meal was the onion dip that we had with the fries. Service was great.

Pleasant place to have dinner. Good portions with satisfying sandwiches. Went here to catch up with a friend, noise level was easy to talk through, ambiance was also cozy and warm. Overall, it was a worthwhile dinner stop for filling sandwiches.

Got the caprese bagel and poutine, as well as the lavender lemon radler. Everything was so good. The poutine was cheesy and flavourful, the bagel was loaded with cheese, pesto and tomatoes and the balsamic sauce was so good. I also loved the radler.
The servers were friendly enough, and the patio was just lovely to hang out on.

Loved it! The food was amazing and our server was super welcoming.
I’ve been to Pals about 3 times and am not disappointed with their food, but they’re not the best sandwiches in Edmonton.
I think their strong suit is the fact that they serve good vegetarian options with fake meat alternatives, I’ve found these sandwiches to be better than many of the meat ones. - the most recent time I went the chicken sandwich was really burnt
The service and scenery is nice and pleasant, not a bad place and worth a try if you like sandwiches

They removed the mushroom dip from the menu and for that they are dead to me. Dill soup is now the only thing that’s worth it here. Otherwise, I’ll get a better sandwich for cheaper at Nhon Hoa a couple of blocks away. Or a better sandwich at the same price point at Va Caffe.

One of the best experiences I've had in ages!!
I went in for lunch and had fantastic service from Erin. She recommended the Reuben and it was perfect. Decadent, but also balanced. Fries were crispy and salty, cheese sauce was lovely, and... THE PICKLE!! 🤤
I had a mocktail as well (cold brew, tonic, orange bitters) and it was excellent.
Then the place I planned to go for dinner was closed, so I went back!!
Kael was equally lovely and friendly.
Had the Cajun Shrimp Po Boy, which was amazing and fresh, and the house salad, which was refreshing and tasty. Washed down with some Sweet Tea and a non alcoholic pale ale, and I couldn't be happier.
Will be a perpetual part of any future Edmonton visits from here on. Keep up the fantastic work, gang!
