We got the food to go - but the atmosphere seemed nice while I waited. The haddock and chips were cooked to perfection and tasted great. It was nice to have something from home when visiting at the hospital (close by). Have to remember to ask for utensils next time. ;-)

I went to pans fish and chips with my kids and my parents and 3 of us ordered the all you can eat fish and chips. The taste was ok, the pollock had a better taste than the basa. We each ordered an additional order of fish and we ate almost everything. There was less than half a piece left and I asked if I could take it home, but the lady refused. I asked her if she was going to throw it away and she said yes. The lady who served us I found to be very unkind. I didn’t appreciate her attitude. I won’t be back to this establishment.

Owner lady was very rude. Every question was answered with “look at the menu”. Not friendly at all. We ordered cod and chips thinking it would be a regular size. Got a 4 oz portion which was tiny. Owner did not explain to us what size we would get. Fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Very dissatisfied and not like it used to be when I lived in Millwoods. Will not be back

A regular business would have refunded me or made something else after the fish was bad but they wanted to argue with me acting like I've never tried fish before... I gagged after the first bite. Needless to say I left the food there with no resolve

Fresh and crispy fish, plus really nice owners.
Went in on a Wednesday, not too busy but service was friendly and prompt.
Had the 3pc Atlantic wild cod fish and chips (ended up being 4 pieces because the 3 on hand didn’t quite add up to 12oz so that was nice).
The fish was fresh and had a nice thick. The batter was perfect, not too heavy and very crispy. Good fries too.
Also started with the deep fried mushrooms.. really nice screaming hot inside. Could use a touch of seasoning. The dip was just sour cream (no skimping there).. but they went better with the zesty tartar sauce.
Overall, I’d definitely go back.

I’ve been going to Pan’s for years now and I still consider their fish and chips some of the best I’ve ever eaten. And that’s coming from someone who’s tried fresh fish and chips in England, Alaska, etc..

The fish is straight out of a box from walmart, the fries and half burnt and shoe string, prices are outrageous, stay away!
We highly recommend this restaurant. Service was top notch from our Server Anita. The food quality was also excellent and it all came out fast, very fresh and flavourful. We’ll definitely come back! Price is also very reasonable for the big portions you get! I recommend getting the Captains Plate for a great deal to sample a number of items in one plate. A big fan of the scallops!

Wife and I randomly decided to try Pan's for dinner and so glad we did. It's a simple and charming family owned restaurant with tasty and generously sized portions. The fish and chips were awesome and the service was kind and prompt. Fantastic value and quality, would recommend!
