We have been ordering pizza from this location for years, nearly every Friday. This past Halloween, we had made the plan to order from here again, and have it delivered prior to our kids going out trick or treating. I pre-ordered the pizza at 1 p.m., choosing a 5:45 p.m. delivery time. By 6 p.m. that evening, the pizza still hadn’t been delivered. I called the location to find out where my order was, and I was told it would be delivered in approximately 15 minutes. Meanwhile, my kids left trick or treating with the plan to come back to the house in a little while for supper. At 6:30 p.m., our order still had not arrived. At 7p.m. I called to complain and ask them to forget the order and give me a refund, as this was unacceptable and we still had not received the pizza we ordered! I was told a manager would call to discuss this issue, but I never received a call. Instead, our order arrived around 8:30, almost three hours late. It must have been sitting around for a while too as it was cold. Both my husband and I have tried to call to speak to a manager since then to at least make a complaint, and we’ve been told we would receive a call back, but never did. We are so disappointed with the outcome of this situation, and we won’t be ordering our pizza night pizzas from this place again.
Update: a day or two after I wrote this review, I received a call from someone at this location offering us 40% off. Initially I didn’t think this offer was sufficient to compensate for our earlier experience, but I accepted, and then chose to order pizza from this location later in the week. As I made my online order, I realized this 40% discount only applied to one pizza, and the rest of the order was full price. Considering that we originally demanded a refund for our pizza that was almost three hours late and cold, I felt this offer was a slap in the face. I’m not planning to order from here again. According to other reviews, it seems many other people feel the same as I do. Hopefully this location can turn things around before it loses all its customers.

For a food chain that was once so good, 4.5hr wait for cold and nothing on 4 of our pizza's. Went somewhere else. Requested full refund waiting on payment. The owner of this franchise should be concerned for its future.! Horrible food Horrible service. PJP was my go to for 10+ years you have lost a customer! PS PJP replied and said whatvcan we do ... do better i will and my family will never order for this restaurant. I went in and the place is disgusting, dirty, gross and no hair nets on staff. This restaurant should be reported to Alberta food regulation for inspection. I am amazed you have not made someone deady ill.

⭐ 1-Star Review I ordered a donair pizza and they brought me a pepperoni pizza instead. When I called to fix the mistake, they told me they could exchange it, but only if I paid again for the correct donair pizza. That’s not acceptable—if the restaurant makes the error, the customer shouldn’t have to pay twice. Very disappointed with the service and will think twice before ordering again

Papa John's (Winterburn location) was a favourite of our family for a long time, but for the last few pizza dinners, we had been going to Panago as it was closer. We decided to get Papa John's for dinner, and ordered our typical original crust, normal sauce pizzas.
The pizzas were thin (not the typical original crust we were accustomed to), overstretched in the middle, the pepperoni on one of the pizzas were overcooked, barely any sausage on the other, and the slices barely sliced through (not a deal breaker).
Pretty disappointed in the quality of the pizza, and we will continue to go to Panago for their consistent quality.

Me and my wife ordered a pizza for 11:34 on August 27 and once we got home we realized most of the pizza hasn't been cut which is very frustrating, I also have a video before we started eating but very very inexcusable that you can't cut a pizza properly, we got this on August 27 and the dude who cut my pizza had a dress shirt on and looked like a manger if that's the case that is very disappointing on their behalf, although the person with the apron that night was very nice, but the man who had the dress shirt can't even cut a pizza properly, disappointed seriously
Ordered a pizza and got charged for a bag? No bag came, and the pizza was paper and I mean absolutely paper thin. Place is a scam. Never again!

I had one of the worst experiences ever at Papa John’s. Walked into the store and was immediately put off by how dirty everything looked — floors sticky, counters greasy, and trash overflowing. Definitely not what you want to see at a place that handles food.
To make it worse, the employees behind the counter weren’t wearing gloves while preparing the pizzas. One of them even wiped their hands on their t-shirt and went straight back to making food. Completely unacceptable and unhygienic.
The staff was rude and dismissive, acting like I was the problem for saying anything. No apology, no professionalism — just a bad attitude all around.

Reading the reviews I was scared af. Ordered a small cheese It was great, cooked well, the guys were nice and polite. They used a fresh cutter to cut my cheese pizza incase i was vegetarian. Guess it's worth the try. Inside can use a little tlc, but wasn't bad.

The pizza didn’t really have any flavour felt sauceless and it was the all in and spinach chicken Alfredo pizzas. Just really shocking. Definitely won’t be going back to Papa Johns ever. No flavour, boring, and overall kinda a sad pizza. Back to the tried and true dominos for me.
