We visited Vietnam this past May and find the authenticity of the food at Phobulous as good as the our experience in Vietnam. The real gem of the restaurant is the excellent service we receive from Joanne and Rose who treat us like family when we come in. We are foodies and like to try as many different restaurants in the city as we can but Phobulous is one we would consider our regular.

My son and I were going to a play at the Jubilee and looking for something nearby for supper. Found this place and thought good enough and it turned out to be a great meal! We both had noodle bowls and the portions are very big and the food was so good. Would eat here again in a heart beat. Its a small intimate place but the service was also great.

I just have to add a note to this excellent little place. I normally order on DoorDash but when modifications were not followed one time, DoorDash would not help but the owner fixed the problem and I’ve gone back and will continue to. We are huge vermicelli bowl lovers. Phobulous has the best quality of meat and it’s tender as if you’ve made it at home. Hands down the best vermicelli bowls in the city. Not too much noodle, lots of meat, the owner and her family are very kind and her son serving is so sweet. Will continue to order and go in more often.

Can't say bad service because there was no service at all. Walked in, waited about 5 min, nobody came to get me seated 💺 I thought maybe I have to pick a spot first, so I picked a chair and sat down. One of the servers saw me. Waited about 10 minutes without no one approaching me, no hello, menu or water...nothing. Glad I didn't waste my money. Walked out and went to the Japanese restaurant in the same parking lot and was greeted and handed a menu instantly, they treated their customer much better. To summarize, nothing phabulous about phobulous. -5 stars.

Amazing restaurant! My dad used to be a regular here when I was a kid, and Rose (the owner) knew him when she saw him and even called him a nickname. She would often bring us free drinks if she had extra left over (usually their fruit slushes). I don’t go there much anymore, but I order their food on DoorDash regularly still. Food was great back then and just as amazing now! Always tastes great! If you want AMAZING food and super friendly welcoming service, go here if you can!!
