Portion sizes were small for the huge amount of money we paid. Ate everything in one sitting. Most Vietnamese restaurants I order from, you get 2-3 meals out of. The food was good though. Won't order from here again unless given some kind of discount for lack of food
Food is alright but it doesn't make up for the absolute TERRIBLE service they have. I usually go there just because it's close to home and I put up with the service but I have to constantly feel like I'm annoying the server (which I hate doing) to get what I want. And today I ordered pick up from there and got none of the stuff I asked for with my soup. It's just ridiculous how people like that even work in customer service..
If I could rate this lower, I would. Horrible customer service. Phoned ahead of time for pick up and was told it was be 30 minutes. PhoXpress Hampton offers decent-tasting Vietnamese cuisine, although the portions are smaller and prices are a bit higher. Highlights include the salad rolls and deep-fried tofu, though the salad rolls' ingredients may be unbalanced. The pho features options like steak and Thai, with broth and noodles that feel somewhat diluted. The grilled chicken with spring rolls has decent flavor but can be bland without sauce. Staff are extremely friendly, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Customers appreciate the fast service and the bun Bo hue, which is delicious and fresh, with a good meat-to-noodle ratio. While value remains a concern, the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service make it a tolerable option for those in the area.
