Great brunch but service was poor and slow.

I wasn't too impressed. The food took about 45 minutes to come, which felt really long (granted they were quite busy with a lot of traffic from the Fringe Festival). I got the beef ragu which was good for the first half, but it soon became too salty as I continued eating. The atmosphere was great though, and our server was very friendly and entertaining.

Went to Pip for the first time with my mom for brunch. The atmosphere is lovely, very modern and clean. Service was great, our server was very attentive and informed about the menu. I ordered a London fog and eggs Benedict. The London fog was lovely and rich, made with house made vanilla syrup. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I wished that the potatoes were a bit crispier and that there was more Hollandaise, but those are minor gripes. Definitely a great place for brunch.

The service was absolutely fantastic. When you book in advance you get a semi private room which was awesome for a group of 7. Drinks and food were amazing. Great first experience at Pip. Definitely recommend.
Pip is my favourite place in town for brunch, yesterday was my first dinner experience, the waiter we had made great suggestions including a beautiful bottle or rose, and the endive salad with shrimp, it was incredible!
I have not been to PIP for some time. The food was fantastic. It was great to have a fantastic dinner before seeing a play at the Varscona Theatre. We will be back again.
Place looks amazing and food was delicious. However, the orange juice tasted funny that my stomach did not like it and had stomachache on my way home.
The main courses were of a very high quality. Our only issue is that we were attending the theatre following the show, (literally 2 minutes on foot) and our server, or the “system” precluded us having the delectable meal in a reasonable time. We ordered at 6.10, our food arrived at 6.50; and this is after we had ascertained that at most the meal should take 30 minutes to prep and would likely be 15-20. They must do a better job of either speeding up, or making certain that for those (not a few) patrons who are planning on attending the theatre they have proper information. So: ambience lively: full of all ages (including a jolly child's party):food excellent: (pasta wonderful, blackened chicken succulent and tasty, salad amongst the best ever!) but overall satisfaction is severely dampened by having to rush and being conscious of the clock the whole time.
We celebrated our daughter's birthday brunch here! Great food, amazing gluten free bread and delicious drinks!! We will definitely be back!
My only concern was that IT WAS WAAAAY TOO COLD in the restaurant and I was very UNCOMFORTABLE as a result! Definitely detracted from an otherwise wonderful restaurant experience.

Great way to spend our 40yh anniversary! We were recommended to PIP and it did not disappoint
Amazing fresh food. Service was excellent. It has been a long time since we have gone out for dinner and loved every item ! Thank you Pip
Had the Sablefish with corn purée-absolutely delicious, beautiful presentation, perfectly cooked fish.
The haskap margs were delicious, as was the Austrian orange wine that was recommended by our most knowledgeable server. The olives were the best I've ever had, firm with a lemony flavor. We had the manchego starter which was incredible. Our entrees were good but we were already full so they didn't have as much of an impact. Overall 5 stars. Will definitely return!
Excellent food (I had the dinner special and it was incredible!) but I recommend going early if you are having dinner before another event as we almost missed our 7:30pm show despite going for a 5:30pm reservation!
