What's up with this place??? Hello management? For expensive halal pizza this was quite disappointing. Don't order here.
Stale and burnt
I did takeout today. The guy who took the order was very nice and helpful, his way of talk is very polite as well. Nice customer service and nice food. Overall it was an amazing experience for me.
I did phone order around 7pm on 15 June when arrived at store order was not ready and then I reminded guy prepared the order but he was not attentive at all infact talking over phone using earphones. I ordered Pizza and Poutine. He put all can cold drinks and poutine in a paper bag and when I came out it was obvious all the stuff fell down due to heavy stuff in one bag so I put my Poutine and broken can in the garbage. Pathetic service at this location. Staff needs to be changed.
Awesome service, Harnoor was very patient with taking our orders. I totally commend this guy!
Ordered well done, the pizza was literally barely cooked. Had him cook it more, still not even close to well done. I didn’t wanna complain again, ate one slice and threw the rest away. Should have got a refund.
The girl who appears to be Middle Eastern or Moroccan, the one with curly hair, is pleasant every time I visit here; she is very friendly and makes my pizzas good asf. I’ve noticed her informing the guy that there are customers when he tends to avoid eye contact and seems too hide or avoid being seen while waiting in line. The other two staff members are also nice, as is the delivery service. However, the service is slow and quite limited. The guy seems to be antisocial and acts as if he’s compelled to be there. I’ve overheard conversations that seem to be about people in Arabic. Additionally, the guy appears to be selective about how quickly he takes orders, particularly with younger women. This is a place I’ve frequented over the years. The pizza is decent, with a good amount of toppings but not enough cheese. Boss is nice

We came in to order and as we were paying one of the employees came closer to lean over us to watch us pay, and we had to tell him to back off, and after we paid our receipts kept getting looked at, we were watched by 2 employees by the counter, the person who took our order was nice tho, not cool tho… should never do that.

We walked in and attempted to order a gluten-free pizza but were told that due to how busy the store was, they would not be able to guarantee the pizza was gluten-free. She tried to explain that the pizzas would be touching in the oven due to the volume of orders, which should never be the case. I asked if they would have called me to warn me about this had I placed an order online with a note that I had an allergy and the woman thought about it before saying yes (which I don’t believe). Celiacs beware. This chain has lost my business.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

Update: it's been almost four years since my review below and I have NEVER returned to this location based on how I was treated by the owner. I live very close by and I have dissuaded all my neighbours from going to this location, as well. I really hope he's happy with his fascist and filthy way he operates his business.I will NEVER return to this Pizza 73 nor will I return to ANY Pizza 73 location due to how I was treated by a staff member at this location on 2020-8-20 at 10:45pm. I placed an order on the Pizza 73 app. This was my second order in the past week and it is my last - ever. I entered the store and saw a staff member in the food preparation area not wearing a mask. He disappeared behind a wall and came to the counter where I was standing now wearing a mask and did not say a word to me. I told him my name and that I was here to pickup an online order. Immediately he told me that I would need to put on a mask or I could not pickup my prepaid order. Had my order not been prepaid on the app I would have walked out at that moment. I told him I was unable to wear a mask. He just looked at me so I reached into my wallet and showed him my City of Edmonton issued exemption card. He took it out of my hand and slowly read it as if he had never seen one before or heard about them in the media. Without saying anything he then handed me my pizza. Firstly, if he was so worried that I have the virus why would he take the card out of my hand and potentially contaminate himself. He was wearing gloves at the time - I wonder if those same gloves were used to make the next customer's pizza. The text is large enough on the exemption card that pretty much anyone would be able to read it at quite a distance. Secondly, he attempted to deny me my prepaid order based his "feeling" that I should be wearing a mask without asking if I might be exempt as outlined in the bylaw. Perhaps Pizza 73 would like me to bring my complete medical file from my doctor before I'm "allowed" to pickup my next order. This store and Pizza 73 may find themselves facing several Alberta Human Rights Commission complaints if this owner is allowed to continue to operate in this unprofessional manner. Clearly this person is either not familiar with the bylaw or doesn't care care and just says whatever he wants to customers. I really hope he is not an owner because this location will be bankrupt in the not so distant future with irresponsible management as evidenced by this and many of the other 1 star ratings on Google. I would really hope that based on all of the negative feedback that Pizza 73 would take some action to clean up the way this store treats their customers. At my business we consistently order enough pizza for 37 staff members one day each month and we have always ordered from Pizza 73. This one staff member's rude and illegal behaviour towards me will be changing where we order pizza from in the future. Sadly another Pizza 73 location will lose out on that business as my work orders were not fulfilled by this location, but Pizza 73 needs to realize that the actions of their staff have consequences for their entire network. The last thing I will comment on is the pathetic distribution of toppings, mainly the onion on the pizza I was given as evidenced on the picture I have attached to this review. One portion of the pizza is overwhelmed with onion while other pieces have one or two small pieces of onion on them. Obviously whomever made the pizza just threw it together and doesn't care. I would like think that if you're the corporate office of Pizza 73 that you'd take action to improve these issues with this location or take their franchise away from them so they stop damaging the Pizza 73 reputation. I'm sure nothing will happen based on this review, but if it warns one person and they can avoid this location then my job is done. I was a fan of Pizza 73 for many years, but now I'll never return. Don't just take my word for it - read all of the other reviews of patheti
