This place is so awesome !! There is likely a line up - don’t panic. It’s 1) fast moving and 2) sooooo worth the wait
Staff is helpful and nice , they have the best tarts I’ve found in this city ! The crust is magical. Magical I say !!! Line up and get some !!
Best bakery in Edmonton. their cakes are awesome!
EDIT..... SINCE IT HAS CHANGED HANDS IT SUCKS!!!!, I WAS JUST GIVEN A SLICE OF CAKE THAT COULDNT BE CUT WITH A KNIFE!!!! A KNIFE!!!!!!...... WHEN I SAY COULDNT BE CUT I MEAN LITERALLY COULDNT BE CUT WITH FULL FORCE.
THE WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER HAD A SERIOUS ATTITUDE TOO.
IM COMING BACK TO RETURN THIS CAKE WHICH IS SOMETHING I WOULDNT NORMALLY DO BUT I HAVE TO FIND OUT WHAT WOULD MAKE A PERSON THINK IT WAS OK TO SELL A CAKE THAT HAS THE CONSISTENCY OF GRANITE. SEE YOU TOMORROW!
Best food from a bakery I've had in a long time.
Tglhey make good sandwiches. We go there once a week after golf.
Shelves always empty
Every thing is delicious!
I suggest you get double of what you think you need!

Great coffee and fresh made sandwiches. Unfortunately the service is below standards. Maybe the ladies were never told to treat customers like guests in their own home. They pretend nor to see them. I had to ask several times to get their attention and I felt like I was nor welcomed in their establishment.

Enjoy delicious Portuguese Custard Tarts (Pasteis de Nata), empanadas, bread, cheesecake, and a variety of delightful pastries - all at great prices. They also serve fresh sandwiches, cappuccinos, and lattes in a pleasant atmosphere. Genuinely Portuguese Bakery and Bistro.

Since Covid times I have not been able to go to this excellent bakery on Alberta Avenue which now also has washrooms near the community league! Opens at 8am and closes at 3pm serving excellent bakery goods, freshly baked bread and a variety of items from Portugal including salted cod! Friendly staff and day old bakery goods always available at half price!!

I have to admit, shopping here has become quite disappointing since the new ownership took over in 2024. The store used to be a great place for Portuguese products, but now it feels like it's going out of business.
The selection is minimal, the fridges are nearly empty, and it's hard to find basic Portuguese items. It seems like there's a significant issue with cash flow and capital.

One of my favourite places to get some Brazilian guarana and Portuguese bakery products.

We ordered a huge assortment of desserts for a totally super healthy lunch, and every single item was amazing. The prices are also incredible. You should definitely do yourself a favour and order 1000 things here.
