I've been to quite a few of the donair spots in the city and this location unfortunately just doesn't compete with the rest. Staff member is friendly, but extremely SLOW at preparing food. Weighed out Donair meat is scraped off the grill along with whatever material is contained in the surface of the grill and added to the wrap. I would like to see this place succeed but food preparation and service needs an immediate tune up! Will check back in a year to re-visit.

After reading some of the positive reviews I was excited to try this place . First 2 times I went I had to walk out after waiting nearly 10 minutes to place my order with only one person ahead of me in line . Easily the slowest service I have ever experienced . On my third visit I was the only person in the restaurant and still waited almost 20 minutes for my food . Asked for no onions on my donair , got home took a bite and yup , onions on my donair . Won’t be returning

We have had Prairie Donair at the Chapel location and they were amazing. When this location opened we were happy as it is very close, unfortunately the service is terrible. Several times you can wait for 15-20 minutes just to get your order in, today there were only 2 people in the place. This has happened since this location has opened. We have also seen one employee grab food from the freezer with bare hands and put it in the fryer. There are 3 other donair shops in the same area that have better service. We will drive the 15 minutes to the other location.

I tried Prairie Donair Hamptons for the first time, and I was hoping it would be a contender for a new favorite donair spot, but sadly, I can't say I'll come back. The food was okay, I ordered the East Coast Donair (tomatoes / onions / donair meat / donair. sauce / cheese). The sauce and cheese were VERY light. I am used to getting donairs that come with extra napkins and layers of packaging to protect it due to the abundance of cheese and sweet sauce. This donair from prairies just DID NOT have that. My fiance also got a gluten free donair, which the wrap is not actually a pita it is a rice tortilla wrap with donair meat. Her wrap was quite dry as well. The fries I found were very salty. I shared some with my Fiance, and she said her fries were not that salty. Consistency in the fry department could be better. However, some may like the extra salt. I did not!The size of both wraps was much smaller than other competitors and the flavor of the meat could have been better but was not terrible. I don't feel stuffed after that meal, that's for sure.I can honestly say that Firezone Donair is still my #1 . Best donair spot!
