PrimeTime Donair & Poutine

Tried Spruce Grove location twice. First time was for donairs, super yummy! Tonight we tried beef and chicken donair poutine. Delicious! Major downfall the meat was burnt. You could taste it every couple of bites and cut up your mouth. Will definitely return but will have to ask for a little less burnt next time 😅

The donairs were excellent. Great flavour, good portions. The poutine looked amazing, but didn’t get to try any, as my lunch mate ate it too fast! I was too full anyway. Will definitely try next time.

Today I went to the location in Northgate mall and they served me a extremely RAW chicken burger!!!

Terribe food! so disappointed!was so happy and anticipating a yummy donair - but i was doomed to be disappointed - the donair i ordered - regular cheese donair, with tzatziki sauce and a large order of poutine. The donair had no cheese, minimal sauce and tasted so dry - boring boring boring and the poutine? the fries werent cooked - gravy tasteless - i was so disappointed AND - i was sick to my stomach for the remainder of the evening - i will NEVER! Never get food here or any Prime time ever again!

Worked in food service before, the people who taught me were adamant to even wash your hands before you put on new gloves….. I usually read reviews before I go places but the Prime time in Oliver square is amazing every time, just near a friends. So I see 6 people waiting, the guy keeps taking orders, with gloves on, touches the POS, then goes back and man handles a person order with the same gloves. Then I read the reviews. It’s Friday at 9 PM. Clearly understaffed, not following safe food procedures. Assuming the couple working are the owners. If you see this many reviews, maybe take the advice. Hire another staff member to help on peak hours. And definitely change your gloves when using the POS.

If you hired a teenager to handle the POS, you can keep cooking and not have to worry about so many complaints about the above.

No rudeness or disrespect, just advice from a business standpoint point. And with this many reviews… it’ll be a matter of time before you get shut down if you don’t make changes, from a sanitary stand point.

2 stars because you are friendly and working hard. Might update once I actually try the food.

Update: Food was actually decent, fries were kinda cold, not crispy compared to DT probably cause rushing, paid for extra meat and not the same as regular as DT.

Go work at Oliver square for a day and take notes

Waited nearly 20 minutes while the only person working continued taking orders while cooking food. In my shawarma poutine, the fries were rock hard, the chicken was cold and as dry as the Sahara desert, and trying to eat rock solid fries with a crappy wooden fork is impossible, it just breaks apart.
The Donair size is the smallest in the city, and costs twice as much.
The restaurant is extremely uncomfortable, incredibly hot.
Will not come back. Absolutely not worth the price.

Went to the Winterburn location for the first time and not only was one person working with a lineup of customers, but they got our order wrong. Won’t be returning.

The food here is just okay and was way over priced. I had to bug the lady to wash her hands before preparing my food.She was like; oh I am wearing gloves. That doesn’t matter she was handling cash before making my food. The two female employees who worked there also made me feel uncomfortable by looking @each other as if I was an alien after asking.

They need to take a food safety course. They might be just lazy , but when I am paying for food, I expect the business to have good sanitary food practices. Just wearing gloves isn’t good enough if your hands are already dirty & you are handling food.

One of the worst shawarma we ever had. Lettuce were frozen, meat was salty n bitter. Never going back again.

I was sitting in my car reading the reviews and looking at the pictures of other people's food they got from this location. I'm glad I never got out of my car.
