Ralph's Chicken is a fantastic family-owned business where you will be treated like family and enjoy delicious, high-quality food. The best part is that you can call ahead to place your order, and it will be ready and hot by the time you arrive.

The service was great! And the food was delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever had.

So, we read the Google review that said the potatoes in this place are like “mashed potato pillows” and we laughed, because it seemed like a rather melodramatic description of a potato wedge. How wrong we were! These are next level spuds, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, seasoned, yet not overly salted. The chicken is also good, crispy and neither greasy nor dry. We got a 2-piece meal and a 3-piece meal, both of which included plenty of potatoes and a drink, for under $25! This is a rightfully popular spot, with large trays of chicken going out the door in a constant stream the whole time we sat there.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this chicken is so good I have dreams about it. The chicken is both juicy and crispy, and the potato wedges have an amazing texture. Everything is well seasoned and the quality is excellent. The staff are lovely, great customer service and the vibe is the epitome of a friendly neighborhood spot.

Best classic fried chicken place in the city! I was heartbroken when their Strathearn location closed and was hoping they'd pop up again. It's old news by now but they did open up a full-on restaurant in Castledowns. It's much more out of my way than before so I don't get to go as much as I'd like but it's definitely worth the drive still.

The fried chicken is perfectly crispy and juicy. the batter is flavourful and not disgustingly greasy. The wedges (they call them spuds) might even be better than the chicken sometimes, they have such a good taste and are perfectly soft on the inside. Their gravy is good, but I typically only like to eat small fries with my gravy so I don't get it much. They recently added tenders and a sandwich to their menu which is great. Haven't gotten the chance to try the sandwich yet but the tenders were not a disappointment. Offer ketchup as well as packets of hot sauce with your order if you want to add a bit of kick to your chicken.

Last of all prices are also reasonable! Comparable to most chains you've been to but for better quality chicken from a local business with great and friendly staff.

Parking: Restaurant is in a strip with quite a few businesses and a market of some kind so the lot has always been decently crowded when I've gone. Not impossible to find parking, but the lot is quite crummy as well so there's lots of potholes and dips in the area including the parking spots themselves.

Best chicken and taters in the city hands down!

Ralph’s Fried Chicken is the best chicken spot in all of Edmonton—I highly recommend it! Not to mention, it’s also Halal.

We've got a family meal today and it was really good, and at a great price as well. I definetly recommend this local place over big corporations such as KFC, Popeyes, and Mary Browns. The spuds were so good as well. Also, they made our food really fast, so great service ?
