This is a wonderful family own business that is a step into the past. The food is excellent. The service is old school or people know your name and know your order. There is nothing like this in Edmonton) if you wanna experience 1950s or 1960s breakfast diner this is a place to go. It’s 20 stars not five stars incredible well worth the visit for anyone.

Very good breakfast overall. I’ll definitely be coming back. The egg yolks were a deep, vibrant orange, something you rarely see in Edmonton. They tasted fantastic.

Don’t be misled by the reviews — our experience here was extremely disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food, and despite ordering only coffee and a few basic items, the menu was very limited. After repeatedly waiting, we finally asked about our order, only to be told it would be another 15 minutes for something that would normally take 10 minutes to make. At that point, we decided to leave.
What made the situation worse was being charged for the coffee, despite the unacceptable delay and lack of service. Any reasonable establishment would have offered it complimentary under the circumstances, but that level of common sense was clearly missing.
The place felt outdated, had an unpleasant smell, and the service was among the worst I’ve encountered. I rarely leave negative reviews — in fact, this is the first one I’ve ever written — but the experience was poor enough that it deserves to be noted. Hopefully, it will be my last.

Could be a cute Retro place, but needs a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. It has been thete dince 1955. Old pictures and antiques and to the atmosphere.
The cook needs to make a visit to TOAST to see what breakfast items look like. Prices a bit high for quality of food delivered. Ham slices were a low cost thin sliced ham roll, bread was barely toasted no colour.
Why did we stay ... free entertainment. The owner was hilarious. His style is friendly and comical. He would do very well in stand up comedy.

When you first entered the place has a putrid smell I'm not sure what was causing it but I'm assuming that's from age but the food is great. The customer service is the best and atmosphere is awesome!.

My favorite beef bulgogi in edmonton, and I've eaten A LOT of bulgogi. Add an egg on top to make it extra tasty.
HAPPY DAY!
