I came here on a whim and had a great lunch for an awesome price! The owner is incredibly friendly, and the Bulgogi sandwich was a must-have. I could not recommend it more!

Really liked this place! Homely, lots of interesting pictures on the walls. Great fries, had the bulgogi (highest spice) and it was delicious! Staff was super friendly. Will come back!

Limited menu with nothing that stands out as amazing. I would say subway sandwiches are better (and that's pretty much what's on the menu). I thought the prices were way too expensive for what you get. Tea was $3 (a common household tea bag) and I thought that was expensive. It used to be that these kinds of little things were free back when I was a kid. Most places sell tea for this much nowadays so I tend to not leave a tip to make up for having to pay such high prices on things I consider are a rip off. When I went up to pay and didn't leave a tip the guy demanded to know why. He looked a the bill, pointed at the price and then said out loud that I did not leave a tip. I told him I thought it was too expensive. I thought it was tacky and petty to be demanding it. It looked like he was pretty mad that I did that. It made me uncomfortable and so I think I won't be going back to this place. Who knows, maybe I'm in the wrong, but I'm not big on the tipping culture. I tip when I think the service is above and beyond, or when the prices are very good- that helps in affording to help a fellow human out.

The bulgogi sandwich is to die for! The only thing that would make it better is if it had more spice. I tried extra hot and still it could be much hotter. Regardless, it is an amazing sandwich that everyone should try!

Just had brunch there. Visiting from Vernon BC and went off Google reviews. Awesome food and service and a real gem of a place with great history. Owner was so welcoming and attentive. If we ever come back to Edmonton, will visit again!
