30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. By the time I recieved my sandwiches my coffee was luke warm. Should only take 5 minutes a sandwich max, what are they doing back there? Not worth $40 thats for certain. I recommend other coffee shops over this place, theres plenty across the city.

This makes me sad because remedy used to be a 5 star spot but the quality has just slipped recently. I’ve been 3 times of late and the food is just a bit mid and the chais aren’t as yummy as they used to be :’(

i love this location so much. it’s so cozy and homey feeling i hope they never update it because the sleek and modern coffee shops are so uncomfy to be in. i love the Kashmiri Chai so much it is my all time fav. i like coming here because they don’t blast music and they are genuinely a pillar of the community. i love seeing all the people the gather here :) :)
i appreciate that they have dairy free and gluten free options. ive needed staff support to figure out options that are both df and gf but they are very knowledgeable and accommodating. i wish more of the major food components were listed on their menu because i got a wrap once that had mayo added and it really wasn’t too my taste—i wish i knew before ordering (i wouldn’t expect mayo in an indian fusion wrap so i didn’t think to ask)
maybe this is a big ask (i don’t know beverage stocking prices, im no business owner) but i wish Remedy would try to stay a bit competitive by removing the upcharge for milk alternatives as other places in the city have.

The staff here have been such lovely people that I carried with me from when I was in university and beyond.

I went here to get a bite to eat one evening. Had the vegan butter chicken. It was nice and tasty. The cafe was a bit busy, the service was great and I was able to find a place to sit. It is spacious yet cozy.

Got the brownie & chai, and did some work. Loads of seating and different types of tables so you can see choose what you like. Brownie portion was big too. Good high speed wifi. Note: the outlets are only available in some sofa areas, so you might have to relocate there once your battery is low.

This place is weird as heck in the best way possible. The butter chicken wrap tastes nothing like butter chicken, and it has mayo on it, but it is still delicious.
The chai is fantastic as well, though be warned it is sweet.
