Today was the BEST morning of the year!! From a family member passing away, to mice noises creaking throughout the nights, and even truly understanding I dont have the support system that I thought I had.
I have been looking for a cafe to really relax and get away from my kryptonites that are bingeing Youtube and Netflix. Respire Coffeehouse not only has a Superb owner with such an amazing story that she should write books about it, but an atmosphere so inviting and welcoming. Its so unique infact that even the exterior is something you would think could only be availible in The Ice District in Downtown. A little cherry on top is that for each season, decorations are placed throughout the space, even the washrooms. I cant wait to comeback during the christmas season and see the big christmas tree I see in other peoples pictures.
I thought I would never find the perfect cafe, but I really think I have. Respire Coffeehouse hits all the right criteria: Caring Owner, Yummy Drinks, Delectible Treats, Cozy / Inclusive Environment, Free Wifi, and most of all, WALL PLUG INS I CAN PLUG MY CHARGER INTO!! (Its such a pet peeve when a cafe doesnt have any!)
Go for yourself and feel the warm welcome I recieved because there are not many places you can recieve such geniune care such as Respire Coffeehouse!
P.S. I will forever be mad at myself that I havent once visited Respire Coffeehouse in the 3 years it has been open until today.

I went to inside out chiropractic and while I was waiting I walked over to this coffee shop which is in the same building just on the other side. I really enjoyed it and have been there many times since… great staff and service

A very quiet, local coffee house in a light industrial area of the city. Cinnamon rolls are good daily in the morning with other pastries. I typically order a London Fog and it is always on point.

I had never been there before and I was really impressed. The staff was so friendly and it has a great atmosphere. They also had some great baking, including gluten-free which was delicious.
The space is really unique. Open air concept that doubles as an event space so there's tons of seating. The barista was very friendly. The drinks however were a bit cold and the pastries weren't my favourite.

The staff are nice but the service is incredible slow and the coffee honestly isn't that good. Cappuccinos come in one standard size, there is no medium or large but the barista offered me a large one that was basically just a cup of extremely hot milk with little to not actual espresso in it. For the price they charge go somewhere with an actual barista.

Love this place! Massive, clean, quiet at most times, wonderful service, and drinks are not overpriced. Maybe the only downside is hearing the announcements over the PA from the chiropractor clinic next to it but I can live with that!!
