This may have been the best meal I’ve ever had! Everything was delicious, thoughtful and as pleasing to the eyes as to the mouth. I was served beets and I actually liked them! It was a perfect anniversary gift to ourselves!Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my dietary restrictions which was wonderful!

Where to start...the whole experience was amazing. It's like going to a Michelin star restaurant. The dinner was an event and felt like a movie you didn't want to end.Beginning at the bar while we waited for dinner to begin was a great experience. Sam was friendly and the drinks and atmosphere in this seperate room was a treat. When dinner started we were all brought to a pre seating room for some tasty treats. I'm not going to throw out any of what we ate so you can truly enjoy the experience of surprise yourself :)Afterwards we were brought to an intimate setting of 10 people with Taylor and Shawn cooking in front of us. From oysters to duck the whole dining experience was such a tremendous treat of diverse foods. The open pit cooking was a great addition to the whole experience.Besides the amazing food it's really the little things that stand out. Folding a napkin when I left the table for a minute. Layout of dishes that were set with such care in the exact same spot. The presentation of the dishes laid exactly right. You can see see and feel the level of care. It's not hard to believe that Taylor was previously in Denmark working at a Michelin star restaurant.100 stars to Taylor and everyone at Yarrow for creating an experience that I will never forget. Thank you so much everyone at Yarrow.

As someone who seeks out food experiences at least 3-4 times a month I like to think I know good quality food and also a good deal. IMHO this place had higher quality food that just didn’t offer a unique or great enough taste to justify the price. The experience on the other hand was 10/10. The food was like a 5/10 the best I’ve ever had taste wise and originality. To me to pay that much and the food is mediocre is kinda a Meh feeling. You want a better chefs tasting menu? Go to Rge Rd. The experience won’t be as intimate BUT the food which in myOpinion is most important is bar none BETTER by leagues. Bottom line? Got 600$ to waste on you and a sig-other, and you absolutely HAVE to try this place? It’s ok. Not great. There’s definitely better for cheaper.

Atmosphere was good. Very cool experience. However for the price I personally think it is not worth it, the chef acknowledged that he didn’t want you leaving overly full, and we ordered pizza an hour later. There are better tasting menus and experiences in Edmonton for the price. (Eg rge rd, or tzin). We were told it was AMAZING under the old chef but unfortunately I don’t think the new chef lives up to the standards previously set.

My visit to Yarrow, here in shortPrice point not a issue as food , shelter and clothing is what you make your money for.Reason for my rating for 1 star overall; hiking prices for tasteless food wouldn’t make you a Michelin star ,Appetizer were decent and good : felt they were thawed frozen foodMains few were good few were waste to plate, deserts were waste of time to even look at and you don’t expect these type of deserts after paying this much money( more like dollar store toffees)If you are planning to go here keep your expectations low that is all what i will say as this place doesn’t serve justice for the price they charged us ( i.e not a problem for me as i care less for the price i paid but is it worth it : NO )There are multiple places out there which are better and you get to taste the food if i name them i will look like a paid promotion. But to the chef’s explanation of working at 50 different places seemed like he worked at a place for a day or two . Bragged more but taste really *****ed .Out of 11 people on the table only one person was able to eat tasteless main i was surprised maybe she have dead taste buds or was offered free food so others appreciate the tasteless meals as wellIf you think paying $$$$ will get you good food, you are thinking totally wrong. I have been around the world and ate at good restaurants and still believe this place does not even deserve a single star. I read the reviews from other people maybe they spent 350 for single person was quote fascinating for them but get out and compare if this place deserves one star until they change the chef or the menu. Maybe the people who left 5 stars haven’t tried something else to them this place is a 5 star. Go London, go to states even go to south America like small towns you will find experienced chefs who really can cook, Bragging that you aged your apple’s doesn’t make them the Michelin Star again and if you have enough guts to charge a family of 5 $ 1800 for the meal make sure it is worth it.The efforts were made but the chef seemed pretty inexperienced maybe make sure to shadow someone for a while and learn how to cook. Having a feeling that you are Ramsay Gordon doesn’t make you RamsayGood luck I don’t think so someone will go there to eat second time even though if you decide to Buddy where are your taste buds as food really s****ed

Love the passion of the chief. Food was very good. 5 stars for that but unfortunately the support staff are not up to the challenge. Overall a good experience.

This place is a 5 star+, my wife and I were there in May. The chef (owner) and staff looked after every small detail. We went early to have a drink before dinner and the 5 stars started the moment we walked in. The chef came into the bar to take our jackets and hung them up. The bartender accommodate our requests for drinks that weren't on the menu, delicious. The owner came into the bar and explained what the evening was going to entail. We started off with appetizers, the chef explained what and where everything came from and how it was prepared. The presentation was amazing. After appetizers he took us to the dining room, and explained the rest of the dining experience. We had the wine pairing with dinner and he nailed every meal. The chef was very open with everything he was preparing, where the ingredients came from and why he chose the wine to go with each meal. Bottom line the experience is completely worth it. Thanks for a great evening.

I don’t think I can over-emphasize what a wonderful experience this was. I took my family and from the moment we arrived we were entertained with fabulous food, drinks and service.Eating around what was a lot like a kitchen island, the chefs cooked there in the room over an open flame. There were stories to go with every course and the food was incredible.I was especially impressed by the well conceived non-alcoholic drinks pairings that the kids enjoyed. The cooking was dramatic and confident. I can’t wait to go again.Be aware that you will get a set menu. This is a place to eat and watch a fabulous chef team create magic in front of you.

What an amazing experience! Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? 110%. My wife and I love food experiences and we have had the opportunity to visit a number of Michelin starred restaurants around the world and Yarrow would be comparable to the top ones we've been to. The food was outstanding and the experience was in our top 2. We were blown away that there is a restaurant like Yarrow in Edmonton. If you go, I highly recommend the wine and juice pairings. My wife had the juice and I had the wine and both were an incredible addition, it was great because we both got to try the other's pairings. Overall incredible and we will definitely be saving up to come again.
