We used Rice Bowl Deluxe for our Healthy Hunger fun lunch at school today. The delivery was right on time and very efficient. The employees were very friendly and the food was labelled and organized. The food was hot and delicious!

I have been a customer of this location for many years. I think that there was a change of ownership bc their food quality has gone down and they give you less food per dish. There was also a hair in my hainanese chicken and they charge for extra sauce (before they gave you two types of sauces and now it’s only the ginger sauce, and if you ask for more they charge you $1 plus tax).
Update: Thank you for your response. I did not tell the employee working there so I did not get a free meal. At this point I had made the decision to write the review to effectively bring attention to the matter as this issue had happened to us previously. I attended your location in March of this year with my family and there was a hair in one of our dishes and I notified an employee who then took it off the bill. With regards to the sauces, it was nice to get two types and a free refill on a $18 meal in the past but I understand that you have changed your policy. We were regulars previously and the regular employee at that time may have given us extra sauce as service.

This restaurant is a gem so close to home. It’s our family’s go-to restaurant for authentic Cantonese food from Hong Kong, we go there at least once a week! Our favourites include Hainan Chicken Rice, Hungarian spicy tomato beef stew ( I know, Cantonese version 😆), stir fried ho fan (flat noodles) with beef, beef satay noodle soup, their crispy noodles are also very good. We also love their congees. The HK milk tea hits the spot with a good balance of milk & tea, nice and hot! Today we had the chicken rice, beef flat noodles & milk tea. The venue is bright and clean, and the staff very friendly and efficient, we always feel welcome here. Thank you guys, keep up the good work!

I've lived in Edmonton for 3 decades. I've tried my fair share of Asian restaurants, but Rice Bowel is by far the best in the city. It cannot be beaten, every single dish ive tried has blown me away. I would easily tell everyone to try it!

This place prioritizes its delivery drivers and services like Door Dash than its in-person patrons.
Their paying machine asks for tips. If they are want to be paid for in-person take out service or dine-in, then offer in-person service that is timely and don’t make people wait so long!!!
I made two orders one after the other, not even a minute apart on the receipts and my order numbers were 7 orders apart. I was the only person at the order counter. The only way of this happening is that there are other orders coming in that are not in person.
I have ordered from this location many times on Door dash before and my food was made and delivered in less than 30min. That’s great for delivery.
It was a waste of time to come in person, I don’t recommend it to anyone.
There is ZERO benefit to ordering in person. Where time is money, save your time and just order delivery because their in-person dine in and take out service is horrible. I waited over 30min in-person. Terrible customer service.
I drove all the way there and their Bogo Teriyaki chicken is sold out. Very disappointed.

I ordered online through uber it was so bad that I had to put a review about it on here ! I'm not one to put reviews but I was so disappointed in my order that I have to share! I spent 30$ for 2 items I got the black pepper noodle bowl and a banana fruit smoothie the noodles I received over half of them were not edible (stale and hard) I was so disappointed in my order but I spent to much on this so I still ate 1/3 of it then got sick and threw up, it was not worth 30$ I'd stay away from this location ( I doubled checked to make sure this was the right restaurant and it is)

I recently want to order but their website is really confusing! In their web site I can see bogo offers but they are not available anymore! Also, over 45 dollars order they used to deliver it for free: not available anymore! + their prices went up!!! Very disapointed. I am looking for another restaurant to order the same kind of dishes they have!
