Rice Bowl Deluxe (Whyte Ave)

After having an unpleasant experience at rice bowl delux at another location, I was hesitant to try this location but I’m glad I did. The food was delicious, service was great and the facility was clean. I’ll be back for sure.

I often go to the two Rice Bowl locations on the west side, and this is my first time visiting this branch.
I stood here for five minutes while a staff member right in front of me, using the phone without even looking at me.
Plus the food here is worse than at the other locations.
I’d rather take longer time to drive to the other Rice Bowl branches for a better service.

I really wanted to get Noodle bowl, but I do not eat mushrooms. I asked to take out the mushrooms and sub a different vegetable. but they cant do that??? This is beyond stupid, what if I was allergic? This is not the first time they have not been able to take out a vegetable from a mix or add another. What a silly business model for food. Wont try eat here again until they change it.

Consistent quality for a good price.
They have a wide variety of meals and drinks for different tastes or picky eaters and the price and portions are excellent.

It’s my choice for family meals quite often because the menu has something for everyone and the portions are generous while still being very easy on the wallet.
My one year old loves the chili garlic dry ribs in particular

I went in person to order my food and I was craving noodle dishes. I asked the cashier for recommendations and she gave me a few to choose from. I ended up selecting the singapore noodles with chicken as it seemed like a unique dish. I sat down waiting for my food, the ambience of the restaurant was perfect, plenty of space to sit accompanied with stir-frying sound effects from the kitchen. When the food arrived, it was fresh and hot out of the wok, I was eager to dive into the noodles. However once I started eating, I could barely taste any spices and seasoning, it felt like I was eating plain noodles and it was disappointingly bland. Hopefully they improve on the seasoning of their noodles.

A lot of choices. A lot of minor charges for an already high price. Portions are large. Food is good. Service is up and down they get busy and can be neglecting of service. Service is definitely dropped. Food is still good.

Not sure how to describe other than average. It's not bad just not wow. The menu is huge so maybe for people who want a variety this will be up your alley. It will be a one-and-done for me.

PLEASE LABEL YOUR FOOD CONTAINERS!

A bunch of us ordered from this restaurant for a Lunch and Learn session at our workplace. The Food was great. The only issue was that the containers were not labelled meaning that we could not find out what container had what.
We spent close to 10 mins trying to find out which is who's - important as some do not eat Pork, some do not eat sea food etc.
Please label your containers with the contents when it is being delivered.

Was just here at 6:30pm on March 18th to notice the young white staff member handling the cash, on her cell phone and touching her face while using food prepping gloves on then goes to go help make food using the same gloves with no care to wash her hands nor to change her gloves, this happened in view or other staff and management and nobody said anything to her.. You would think in the year of 2025 we should all know that isn’t something you should do, I won’t be back ever again because if they allow this behavior what are they doing in the kitchen..

The green onions cake were all 90 % flour...hardly to see the green onions or taste it.. not recommended this dish...

One of the best chains in the city. I used to go o their 1st local in Collingwood. Great daily deals. They have kept everything the same, which is great. Lots of places change the quality and quantity etc to save money & these guys stuck to what they believe is their dream. Stick to your dreams and you can be as successful as they have.

Staff is very kind and helpful. It was my first time visiting the place, i tried their veggie bowl and bubble tea. Absolutely great , will definitely visit again
