Great selection of Chinese and Vietnamese food, with my favourite ginger beef in the city. Portions are very generous, and the family that runs the joint is always lovely to chat with.
We found Rice King in September 2022, it’s definitely one of the best Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants in Edmonton!
The food is very flavourful and the portions are plentiful. We particularly enjoy the Calamari, Bun Bo Hue, Singapore Rice Noodles, Beef Chow Fun, and Bun Dac Biet!
Jessica was so attentive, patient, and kind—came by many times to check on us and the food. I’ll recommend Rice King to anyone who asks for a quality restaurant!

We had a wonderful meal here while on a trip to Edmonton, it will certainly not be our last visit. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding. There was something for everyone, and the quality of the ingredients and portion sizes were beyond expectations. I highly recommend the spicy lamb soup and the deluxe combo for 2, we left completely satisfied and got to enjoy it all over again with the amount of leftovers we took home!
