Rice To Go Chinese Restaurant

ordered delivery from here, called to add hot sauce to the order and they said that they couldn’t deal with it and the manager would call us back… the manager never called us back. got out food 30 mins later (it’s a 2 minute drive) and we got the wrong order sent to us. tried calling the store to tell them and they did answer twice, the third time they hung up on us.

Ordered dinner for 3 takeout. Pretty disappointed in the overall quality of the meal.
Chicken balls were overcooked and underfilled (see photo) and the "special" chow mein just isn't? It's a overcooked noodle stir fry, no bean sprouts whatsoever, with a very bland sauce. Rishun down the street is much better for the same price, but I wanted to try something new. Disappointing.

I enjoyed the chicken fried rice and chicken balls and I spoke to the manager who is very nice his big chinese eggroll tastes delicious

New Years Eve here was a disaster. DISASTER! Actually never got my food and I was picking it up. Nothing was ready. The people in front of me waited 3 hours…ordered at 5:15 and it still was not complete until 8 PM. 6 people ahead of me and all were waiting. Communication skills in person and on phone were pretty marginal. They kept promising food would be ready but broke their promise multiple times. I think it’s under new management, again, and is just very poor now. Sad.

Terrible service, waited over an hour from scheduled pickup and they are disorganized. Used to be good, not sure what happened.

I ordered four dishes for New Year's Eve. I went and picked them up. It's only about a 3 to 4 minute drive. I came home and noticed one dish was barely cooked and no sauce. I called them to see if they could send their driver over with a new one and I would give them this one. They said well they can but they would have to charge me for delivery so I went back got the refund told them to refund me my tip as well Which they did. It has been my tradition to order from this restaurant on Christmas Eve, this will be the last year. I'm not interested in having to run around trying to get food that's properly cooked. how the person who put that in the container didn't notice it was undercooked chicken and didn't notice there was no sauce is beyond me. It's not the first time I've had undercooked issues, I assumed the last time would be the last, I was wrong.

We discovered this place based on online recommendations and ordered delivery a few times from them as we liked the food. The last time we ordered (during a snow storm) the food delivered was old - rice was crunchy, and noodles were just bad. When we called to complain, the person who answered the phone had ZERO customer relations skills. Ultimately, this person initially offered free rice and noodles the next time ordered. We brought up the point that their proposed "fix" wasn't really free if the food they provided was going in garbage. He then said we were unthankful and ultimately hung up on us. Upon calling back, they resorted to yelling and swearing. Among many shocking things spoken, he said he: 'didn't care we we ever ordered from them again'. Never have we ever experienced such disrespectful and appalling treatment. We will never order from this place again. Gets 1 star since that means that we hated it, but really, this place deserves negative stars dragged down by their customer Service.

Use to love this place. Food went from a 10/10 to 2/10 under new management. Definitely won't be ordering again . Such a shame.

Under new management. The old establishment the portions shrunk and the quality seemed to go down. This is my third time ordering under the new management and the portions are huge and the quality is wonderful. I will not eat Chinese food anywhere else. The old company I use to take off the tip that went on automatically until you asked to remove. These people now deserve every bit of the tip!

They have the best ginger beef on the west end of the city. Very friendly staff , fast service and good quality food comes out of here. Would recommend to anybody who doesn't want to be traveling super far to feed the family

My wife and I have been going to Rice to go for about three years now. However, the last few times have been very disappointing. Turns out, it’s under New Management.

Sadly, we will not be getting food from Rice To Go anymore.

Tried them for the first time this evening and it was excellent. Lemon chicken extra special, but all the items were very good . Very impressive!

when it first opened it was amazing... second owners and it went downhill... since around Aug 2024 third owners and it's better than it was originally
