Rice to Go – 172 Street

It’s nearby, so we ordered a couple of the standard dishes — curry beef and salt-and-pepper chicken. The salt-and-pepper chicken was not bad at all. It’s a dry dish with no sauce, but the chicken itself was cooked properly and had good flavour.

We have ordered many times. Portions were large, dinner was hot and tasty. Ribs are a gamble. Dry ribs have been totally dried out with little meat, and sweet and sour tends to be tough and chewy. They're a favourite dish of ours, so we hope they'll improve with feedback. We like this little place and want to see it do well.

We regularly order take-out from here. Not every dish has been a hit, but usually they're very good and we have our go-to's now so we're set (Szechuan Beef, Beef + Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice are all great). Delivery, pick-up - whatever we get, we've had consistently good service. The portions are also great for the price, always leftovers for lunch!
