Food is good, it is what you would expect from a family style diner. The server though was very nice. I had a meal voucher from the hotel but did not have time to sit down as I was in a rush. The server noticed this and got my food ready to go right away, during my short wait he offered me coffee or hot water. He even filled my thermos full of hot water so I could have it to go. The staff here go above and beyond.

I was serve by this girl named Krisha or Kisha, im not quite sure, but I was taken care of really well. She was always doing quality checks and so i was able to voice my concern with my main dish, and how I found it to be cold and no longer warm to eat. She was agile and remedied the situation. She was terrific! I am definitely coming back; the food was good as well!

Ricky's All Day Grill never disappoints! My kids loved their delicious and wholesome kids' meals, while I indulged in the creamy Alfredo chicken pasta! From her cheerful greeting to her attentive care throughout our meal, Krisha's positivity added a special touch to our experience. Not to mention, her recommendation of the delicious fish and chips was spot-on – truly delightful! I travel for work I eat at a lot of restaurants! 90% of the time restaurants at hotels are garbage. Usually they’re Boston pizzas, Kelsey’s chillies etc. the food is usually prepackaged heat and serve overpriced but Ricky’s diner has amazing food service portions, and prices! I had takeout that I brought to my room. The egg omelets are huge delicious all the vegetables were fresh. I had the ginger chicken rice bowl for dinner. It was amazing but the best meal had to have been the brunch platter. Three eggs three sausage 3 Pieces of bacon, two freshly made chicken fingers a waffle and hash brown. For $22 you could literally feed two people but aside from just the food the service is amazing my server Rowena she is the nicest lady, and one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. She was attentive, but not interrupting my meals so much that it became annoying. She was sweet and very polite. She also made sure my coffee never got under a half cup. Being away from my family, especially on Valentine’s Day Rowena made my crappy day into a great morning. It was just so nice to have a polite, kind server, who actually seemed like the way she actedwas genuine not just being nice for a tip. I will be returning to Ricky’s anytime I’m in the Edmonton area whether I’m staying at the Holiday Inn or not.

My server was kind and refilled my coffee multiple times . My eggs were over easy just right , bacon crisp not burned as well as the hash browns and sausage but the Waffle chicken scores highest. Soo good and came out hot.Hidden gem with breakfast and lunch options. Also poutine fries had good amount of gravy and squeaky cheese and their Burger was Huge a must try.Thank you Ricky’s all day grillParking: Electricity on each spot for plug heaters.Kid-friendliness: Booth seating and high seats for privacy while eating with small kids.
