I recently visited a breakfast spot that reminded me a lot of Denny’s, and overall, it was a good experience, though not without a few minor hiccups. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, just what you’d want for a laid-back morning meal. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which really added to the positive experience. They were attentive, quick to refill my coffee, and made sure I had everything I needed. Speaking of coffee, it was nice and hot—just the way I like it.

As for the food, I ordered the classic pancake breakfast. While the portion sizes were generous and the rest of the meal was tasty, the pancakes themselves were a bit undercooked in the middle. They had a nice flavor, but I wish they were cooked through a little more. However, the eggs and bacon were spot on, so it balanced out the meal.

Despite the small issue with the pancakes, I still enjoyed my breakfast, and I’d definitely give this place another try. If you’re looking for a solid breakfast spot with friendly service, this place is worth checking out. Four stars!

If you're looking for casual comfort food style breakfast this is the place! The service is amazing making you feel so cared for, just like you're at Grandma's house.
The booths are big and private adding an extra cozy feature to the dining experience.

Vegetarian options: I had the veggie brekkie bowl, very tasty!

Staff is rude man like we get it it’s morning people don’t really feel like being awake but imagine saying thank you and food just get dropped on your hands eyes rolled. Ordered take out and description says it comes with ice cream $8.50 for just apples brown sugar and cinnamon came with no ice cream because they said it would melt but you could just put it in a separate container like every other fast food restaurant. Being nice is free man especially if someone is trying to be nice too

We loved it just so like home. It’s a happy tummy and happy mood with a soulful meal always for me and my husband. We loved the food and the care they provide here. We recently moved to Edmonton and live in the apartment adjacent to this restaurant and tried having brunch last weekend. We ordered a chicken avacado omlet, and later got the fish and chips for lunch. It was huge platter and we both were full. The coffee is hot and amazing too. Which they kept on pouring like an unlimited refill ;) would visit again soon. And I’m sure it will soon become a goto spot for us to have a homely dine in option .

Downtown area, good service, good food a tiny bit overpriced, adequate parking.

We ate here after church and th staff and the service was amazing.. food was excellent and will try again sometimes

I order Ricki’s through door dash, it came quickly and with a nice thank you note. However the pancakes were pretty dry and didn’t come with the butter as advertised. I ordered with strawberries and whipped cream and the amount they sent was satisfactory.

Best breakfast i have had in a long time . Good portions and friendly staff. We were impressed so much we tipped the cook thier own tip and the waiter introduced us to the cook. Cant wait to go back again and try the chicken and waffles
