Hands down the best burger I've had! The Rival burger has been ordered 3 times now. It is consistently amazing quality flavor and Ratio meat to burger bun. This is Edmonton's best kept secret. Its currently located in a flea market. This restaurant could compete with any burger spot. Atmosphere is bustling.

The Burgers here are amazing, best smash burgers in the city. We had the peanut burger and it did not disappoint. The guys that run this place are amazing and it shows thru the quality of food you get. Everytime we have had food from here it is top notch. Keep up the good work!!!

I’ve been to this spot a few times now, and it’s become my go-to whenever I’m at Queen Mary’s Market. Their burgers are consistently great — the PB&J burger is my favorite; I love the balance of sweet and salty.
On my last visit, I decided to try their poutine, and it was fantastic. It came loaded with cheese, the gravy was nicely salty and savory, and the fries had that perfect texture — crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy inside.
I overheard the staff mention to another customer that they make the fries in-house: they fry them once at a lower temperature, then freeze them, and fry them again to get that quality crunch. That extra step really shows in the final product.

Best burger you can find in edmonton
Ate at the truck in front of the Growlery Pub on Thursday with the miss, we had a burger so good she had a dream about it. Now we're back Friday. I think this will be a new date spot.

I’ve tried these guys when they were a food truck outside Queen Mary Market…they now have a restaurant inside the market. Decided to try the Rival burger this time off the owners recommendation. Although it tasted great, it was very greasy and salty…but I don’t mind a dirty burger once in awhile! The bun was very dense and held well together and the meat was cooked to a nice thin crisp! I think some groceries would have off set the greasiness and saltiness of the food and that’s why I will be back to try the O.G. Burger next time! Although I didn’t have the fries or hotdogs, they looked amazing and will give them a go as well! Overall, I recommend checking out the market and stopping by for bite!
