I would definitely recommend the Dome Restaurant for special occasions. We were there for our Anniversary and we really liked the place. The guy server was awesome, too bad I didn't grab his name. The food however was not bad but it was not out of the ordinary. Personally, I think the food options are very limited. However, the Mussels appetizer was really great though. I would definitely be back!

We recently visited [Riverside bistro ] to celebrate my husband's birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food was average, nothing special, but the service was disappointing. Our server seemed distant and uninterested, didn't offer any recommendations or check in on us during the meal. It felt like we were an afterthought. The ambiance was also lacking - no music, nothing to create a welcoming atmosphere. Considering it was a special occasion, we expected a bit more effort to make us feel celebrated. Instead, it felt like just another ordinary meal. Overall, we left feeling unimpressed and not particularly eager to return. Maybe they'll improve their service and ambiance in the future, but for now, we wouldn't recommend it. Pros: Average food Cons: Poor service, uninviting ambiance, no special treatment for special occasions

Was there for lunch and froze the entire time. Even my legs and feet were cold. Mentioned this to the waiter a few times. Ordered soup and salad and soup was also cold when it arrived. My friend had a rice bowl with a small piece of salmon and just that dish was $40! Highly over priced, very poor environment. I'll never go back.

Made a reservation for a birthday night, didn’t go as planned at all. First, the dome we booked wasn’t working properly as the heating was going on and off making the dome very cold. The staff said that this was due to excess load but we were the only ones in the dome that night, all the other domes were empty. Secondly, there was no birthday decoration in the dome when the person who took my reservation confirmed beforehand that there will be birthday decorations, that spoiled the vibe as we entered the dome. After that, the food was also not good, the bread they served was burnt and not good at all. We spent 30 min talking to the staff who kept on arguing and didn’t listen to us. Not a good experience at all.

We made a reservation for a birthday night. First of all they did not provide the asked specifications. Which is okay, as they then completed the set up upon our arrival. It was a cold night and the heater that they had put up kept turning off every 2 mins due to increased load (ironically there was no one other than us in any of the igloos). It wasn’t working from the very beginning so it was something that they could have verified before our arrival. We gave them plenty of chances to fix it because we wanted to stay in the igloo. They failed each time and we finally asked to leave. We only stayed in the igloo for 20 mins and they still tried to charge us for the igloo fee. We had to spend 30 mins talking to waitresses, assistant manager etc who kept arguing. No body apologised for spoiling a special night.Left and went to Earls later, saved the night. <3

We went for dinner and enjoyed a delicious appetizer (veal meatballs) and a very tender steak and frites. Our server was excellent - he provided professional service. He had the entire area to serve but we never felt unattended too. The view was beautiful. I will go again.Parking: Parking inside the parade was $5.00 and in the outside parking lot was $15.00. We had to park in the outside lot due to my friends mobility issues. Otherwise if you are good to walk, I would recommend parking inside.

I was staying at Courtyard by Marriott and decided to try Riverside Bistro for breakfast. I chose a table upon arrival and was quickly greeted by a server and offered coffee. I like that the server left a carafe at my table. I was told I could go to the breakfast buffet, but was not offered an a la carte menu as an option (I saw other tables receive one after I had agreed to the buffet). The selection was ok, nothing fancy- pastries and breads, fruit, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes. I was given the bill in the middle of my meal without asking, which made me feel rushed. For the price point, the buffet wasn't worth it for me. At least the view from my table was beautiful!

The food was freshly made, with unique flavour combinations that were delightful. A varied menu that had great options for fresh healthy meals - a refreshing change during business travel. This kitchen / chef are *chef's kiss*.The view of the valley doesn't hurt either.

Hello, Sirs and Madams. I would highly recommend this dining experience. My wife and I found it quaint, intimate and most importantly, fun. Food was excellent and the dessert knocked our socks off. We were served a perfect bottle of wine and we were able to play our own music inside the dome which made it feel even more like “ours”. Our server was top notch; can't speak highly enough of his helpful and friendly nature. Top marks! Added greatly to the overall experience. It's pricier than your local diner but the value is 100% there. 5/5

Dome dinning was a beautiful experience for me and my family. Food was great. Appetizers were delicious and good portion size. My Moscow mule was one of the best's I've ever had in Edmonton. Sticky toffee pudding is a must try. Leon is best he treated us very well during our dinning experience. Every thing was perfect.

Amazing views of river valley. Service was very friendly. Fish and chips were tasty and crisp. Desserts were pricey, but I guess we pay for the view.

I was really disappointed in our experience. I knew ahead of time that the experience would cost minimum $200 and I was willing to pay that amount but the food and service was not worth the amount we paid. We ordered the garlic shrimp and meatballs as an app. The shrimp came with 6 prawns no bread (23$)and 3 tiny meatballs for (20). We ordered the pork chop which was extremely dry for (38$) and the chicken vindaloo presentation was terrible. The chicken vindaloo was ok for taste but the sauce came out in a plastic ramiken. My water was never refilled. Including tip, our bill was $340. I left hungry and disappointed. Also, the heaters they use to warm the dorms are of very poor quality and they do not properly heat the domes. I have been in many domes and I have never been this cold before. I do not recommend even for the ambience!!!
