First time at this diner and it did not disappoint. The waitlist around 1 pm on a Monday says it all. Pack your patience if you're with a large group and want to sit together since it's a cozy place. They were able to sit my family of 8 with their quick turnovers. Friendly service and food came out quick. I'd recommend the genie in a waffle if you're stuck between breakfast and lunch. The waffle was a bit soggy after a while but still flavorful. The rest of the fam had the house burgers and they said it was good. Husband can be picky with his sandwiches and he said the reuben was pretty good for his standards. I would definitely come again when I'm back in Edmonton and try the rest of their menu. Don't forget to save room for dessert. They have a big selection of pies and noticed some gluten free options as well.
