Rocky Mountain Icehouse Reviews
Good Service but Average Food.
Awsome time with great friends and new people
Amazing first time at Rocky Mountain Ice house! originally went to cask & barrel and the waitress recommended to go here for the larger menu. our server was absolutely the best. they have the best crab cakes I've ever had! Rocky Mountain Icehouse offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and a chill vibe. The restaurant features a great selection of beers and unique drink options, such as the Jasper Ave, a blueberry vodka concoction. The food quality is good, with plenty of vegetarian options, including a sloppy but delicious vegan burger. Guests can enjoy a house lager and slaw to complete their meals. The restaurant also has a deck outside for seating and stays open until 11 pm, making it a fantastic spot for a casual evening out or a fundraiser event. The interior combines rustic charm and modern comfort, with exposed brick walls, warm wooden beams, Edison lights, and plenty of natural light. It’s a place where customers can settle in for a slow meal with friends or enjoy a lively night out with live music nights and big screens for sports. Seating options range from high top tables and bar stools to cozy booths and a patio when the weather is nice. The bar features a rotating selection of craft beers and creative cocktails, and the menu leans toward hearty comfort food and southern influence. Highlights include the smoked brisket sandwich, juicy bison burger with house made pickles, crispy hush puppies, mac and cheese with a crunchy breadcrumb topping, and smoked wings. Even small plates like fried pickles and devilled eggs are satisfying. The kitchen focuses on quality ingredients and generous portions, and service is attentive and friendly, with staff happy to offer drink suggestions and accommodate special requests. Overall, Rocky Mountain Icehouse is a go-to spot for great pub food, cold drinks, and a welcoming vibe, especially for larger groups.
