Rooster Kitchen is a community hub. They put people first. The owner cares about musicians and brings them together. This is especially important in the winter time in Edmonton . This is how a bar/cafe becomes an institution and I think it already is an institution here in Edmonton. The atmosphere is welcoming to all. An important venue in Edmonton .
Went here and got the breakfast poutine and my partner got the club sandwich. Both tasted not bad, but not great either. Generally didn't feel like it was worth the price compared to other places like Pip at the same price point. The portion of the side of fries was also pretty pitiful. Probably wouldn't dine here again.
Stopped by here for breakfast/brunch one day.

I ordered the smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese and my brother ordered the special omelet of the day - I think it was a meat omelette. The smoked salmon bagel was very underwhelming for a $17 dish. The cream cheese was underwhelming - the scallion cream cheese was just plain cream cheese with chopped up green...
