Delicious food and hugs portions. Usually do take out platters. Faves are chicken mansaf and beef shawarma.

When we entered this restaurant, no one greeted us. But we heard screaming and a fight in the kitchen with an employee and the owner of the restaurant, named Mohammad Abu Najah. This person treats customers in a barbaric manner. Barbaric, as if he were in a goat pen. His style is trivial. He has nothing to do with respect or morals. . I do not recommend this restaurant called Root of Beirut

I’ve been ordering from them for years, and today there was a small error in my order. Mistakes happen, but I just want to acknowledge how awesome and professional everyone was in resolving it. Not only do they have the best food, but they also offer the best service. I truly appreciate the whole team and 100% recommend them.

Root of Beirut is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly fresh and full of authentic Lebanese flavour. We tried the chicken shawarma, hummus, and tabbouleh — all were absolutely delicious. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. You can really feel the love and tradition in every bite. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true taste of Beirut in the city!

Got their chicken shawarma as well as a bunch of manakish (chicken, akawi, zaatar). Good prices and good service. Great ambience. The manakish come in big portions, chicken was my favorite. Their shawarma was mid tho, lacked sauce.
