Went in today for the lunch buffet , food was terrible . It was cold and seemed like it was reused from the prior day. Brought this concern to the waitress and manager . They did nothing to make it right . Not even an apology or an offer to put out fresh food.

I was at Royal Bistro on Friday 11 October 2025 with my family. It gives me immense pleasure to share my experience with people reading this review. I was truly impressed with the people working there and the food was definitely of good quality, fresh and well stocked/presented. A couple of girls working there were thorough professionals and did there job with smile on there faces. Gentleman named Umesh was at the front who I believe is the owner was exceptional. We were very impressed with his professionalism, respect toward customers, demeanour, and attention to details. Absolutely an excellent experience in quite some time. Keep up the good work and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience. They make you feel like family have delicious food and and keep the fresh Naan coming. While you indulge in a variety of delicious items from their buffet for a more than decent price.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options very delicious

Very rarely do it have give a 5/5 and this places deserves it.
Have been to multiple Indian restaurant around Edmonton and this is by far the best.
The Naan and the wheat roti were note worthy and the Chicken curries were super delicious.
They also have a large bar and a splendid selection of different liquors.
They also have a good buffet spread and it costs hardly anything.
I will definitely do a revisit soon to try the remaining portion if the menu.

Phenomenal food, buffet available or order individual dishes. We had the buffet and there wasn't a single thing that either of us didn't like. Owner is amazing too. Can't recommend enough. Some of the best food I've had in the city.
Food was cold, most dishes in buffet were cold. Everything tasted kinda same and dishes like kofta and paneer were not soft at all! Chicken was hard to chew as well! The service was not up to the mark as well.. It felt like a group of mean girls looking at tables and laughing/gossiping! Never coming back again!

I got buffet, most of the food was stale except breads. There are pretty decent Indian restaurants in Edmonton and area that provide buffet with fresh food and almost similar price. The atmosphere is nice. Staff was not much attentive towards food served in buffet and it had to be brought to their attention that the food is going low or needs to be changed.
