⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointed as a Loyal Customer

I’ve been a regular customer of Royal Pizza for years and have always ordered from them for family and guests. Recently, I had guests over who, for religious reasons, do not eat meat. I made sure to order a cheese pizza, but it arrived with meat on it.

This was a serious mistake that caused a very uncomfortable situation for my guests. When I contacted the restaurant, I expected them to take responsibility and make it right, but they only offered to refund a portion of the cost.

As someone who has supported Royal Pizza for a long time, I’m very disappointed by the way this was handled. I expected better customer care and accountability.

Fast service. The taste was exceptional-unlike anything I’ve had before. Additionally, the staff were incredibly polite and well-trained, providing excellent service. I highly recommend everyone to visit and experience it for themselves.

This Royal Pizza is SWIFT! Pizza, baked lasagna, cheesy bread, all ready for take-away upon arrival (it's a pickup only location, no restaurant). The food is delicious and portions are sizeable! Will definitely order from this location again!

Horrible experience with this royal pizza location. The city health inspectors need to look into this place as it’s very dirty. Customer service is non existent as well. Nearly an hour wait for 2 pizzas is ridiculous. Normally I love royal pizza but this was awful

I don't know whats worst them Butchering the pick up name or watching them place fully prepared donairs in the microwave to heat them up!

My husband went to order and pickup two cheese donair with side Greek salads. I have lived in Edmonton many years eaten at many restaurants over the years but when I say this was the worst cheese donair I have ever tried is no exaggeration! The donairs were saturated with the traditional sweet sauce but it was like condensed milk version of that sauce so thick it was disgusting. The meat slices were old dried up and some had burnt edges on them making it almost unpalatable. Hard to imagine this was ever served. The only saving grace was the side Greek salad that was fresh with lots of olives and feta with a nice Greek dressing. This experience has lead me to one conclusion….. never go to a pizza place for a donair; big mistakes and huge waste of $42.00.

What a joke this place is. Placed an order for delivery at 430 Eta said 530. At just before 6 I called to check on my order. I was immediately told the driver was on his way. About 5 mins later they called back and said the driver had delivered it but maybe to the wrong house. I checked every house in our crescent and found nothing. They said sorry we will remake it and send it right away. I asked if they were going to compensate me for what was going to be a 2hr wait from time of delivery. I was offered a free 2l pop on a order close to $80. I should have canceled and asked for a refund but my 8 year old daughter really wanted pizza. The food was delivered relatively quick after that still was just over 2hrs to get it. Then at 930 they called to tell me the driver found the original on the grass side of my house but gave me the fresh stuff and brought that back. I could not believe what I was hearing as there isn't really a grass side and I looked everywhere when they called to say it was delivered to the wrong house. All I could do is laugh at the fact they called me back just to lie to me and justify why the only compensation offered was a free pop. I love Royal pizza and the food was good but this will be the last time I ever order from that location. Absolutely laughable that I was lied to twice and then they decided to follow it up with a third lie just to complete the hat trick of lies 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Which ever location you go to Royal is the best pizza in Edmonton.

Ordered wings that were not fully cooked and submerged in sauce. Without exaggerating, the sauce filled the tray and the wings were submerged. Absolutely disgusting will not be ordering from here again.

The lat 2 times 1 ordered I could not eat the delivery pizza. (Pepperoni, ham and green peppers) . I don't know what has changed but I find the pizza greasy. I'm am wondering if you get your pepperoni and cheese for a different supplier. The pizza tastes off from before. I ended up throwing them out. Looks like I will look elsewhere since this was my favorite place. Time to explore.
