Order a large pizza and it looked like a medium sized pizza, the temperature was cold! I also ordered a donair meal AND the gravy was watery like literal water, there was like no donair meat at all but had an overload of cheese which very very cold!
My first time ordering from this location, would not recommend as I waited over 2 hours for delivery. We ended up throwing out the food.

I have been ordering Royal Pizza (delivery) from the Hys location for many years now, and OMG this location never disappoints. The salad is always so fresh & crispy, the pizza's are always still hot, right out of the oven (be careful) and very delicious with lots of toppings and just the right amount of oozing cheeze. The delivery lady (I'm sorry I forgot her name) she is always so lovely and friendly. Thank you for being amazing. :) FYI: I never pay attention to people that have the time to leave a long , lengthy, ignorant and mean review, I make my own judgment. Hope when you read my "POSITIVE" review, you will do the same.

My daughter and I came in for a fast lunch during a visit to the hospital. The place was clean, service was impeccable, and the food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.

The gluten free pizza was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in 15 years. Generous toppings and crispy crust. It was perfect!!!!

Cheese and crust is typically super crisp. Regardless, I fed myself and four other people that walked by the location. All the best!

I'm from Abbotsford BC and I have to say this was the best pizza I have eaten.
The crust was super delicious and light but crispy, toppings were really good.
I wish you were in Abbotsford or the surrounding area I would totally go.
Thank-you for not being cheap on toppings.
We ordered Ham and pineapple, the Texan, chicken teriyaki & vegetarian.
Everyone was delicious 😋🤤, thank-you

First time ordering from this restaurant and had a great dinner. This will be our new Royal pizza. Great service and good original royal taste.

I've ordered from this location on several occasions...and something is always wrong with the food...my pizza was burnt black on the bottom, another time I couldn't even bite through the slice for heavens sake but the topper was ordering 3 days ago...there was a new young man answering the phone...which renewed my faith so I placed an order and I also got the lemon meringue pie!...stop!!! The pie was the worst pie I had ever seen...it was completely flat...no lemon filling...so I called to tell them about the pie...I went through door dash and got a credit. But the Hys location couldn't care less...
Then the cherry on the sundae came when i ordered from then again the next night...pizza was fantastic till I bit into something hard...cracked a tooth and now need a root canal and a crown which will cost me around $3500.00 dollars!! All because they didn't pay attention when they were making the pizza...this big black plastic thing would be hard to ignore when making it!!! So yet again I called Royal at Hys...I was put through to a woman that was so rude...you would think i asked her to pay for my dental work!!!
She said i always complain. Well, when I order from you all the time, and the food is subpar every other order, it isn't my fault!! Talk to the chef or look in the mirror! You used to be the best...now you suck! That is NOT my fault or problem...it is yours!
If you want to keep your teeth intact...order from their sister store or from another place altogether!!!

Show up at 945 to order pizza and refused by staff to make it. The ovens are shut off and cooled down. Ignorant staff saying she is a student and not staying past her shift. Asked the cook and they can't make it as the ovens are off. Already cashed out. What a waste to stay open till 10 but unable to serve customers. Do not recommend this location

Ordered 1 small & 2 medium pizzas, as they are on the menu (no additions or substitutions) at 2:36pm. Was given a call right away to say that it was a slow day and it would be ready in about 15 mins (much sooner than the online estimate of 90 mins). Cancelled my order at 4:25pm, because when I called to find out where my order was, I was informed that it was sitting in the store and would be delivered as soon as their driver arrived... (who knows how long it was sitting there for?) No empathy for the ridiculous wait or even any explanation as to why there had been no driver available was offered. Most significantly, why call me to say it will be ready in 15 mins, only to proceed to waste 2 hours of my time? Terrible service; will never order at this location again & will tell everyone I know, not to waste their time either!

Worst canzone I've had. The guys in south Edmonton do it right. This place it looked like road kill.

After a not so great experience the last two times ordering delivery I decided to give them another chance and once again even more disappointed that I’m actually leaving a bad review now. After ordering my standard large royal special from the Hys centre location I waited for an hour (which is no problem whatsoever) the first thing I noticed was the box with pizza seemed lighter than usual and much lighter than it was 5 years ago in comparison to the last year.
I like to put hot chili pepper flakes on my pizza but find with the royal since they brown the cheese (once again not a problem and prefer it that way) I lift the entire toppings level then sprinkle the chilli flakes on the crust and they stick to the sauce. It was ridiculous how little toppings there was and hardly any pepperoni or ham to be seen where as it use to be layered on. Maybe 8 pieces of onion about 15 olives and 10 mushrooms. The person I share it with asked me how much it was and I replied “40$ with tip” and they said it was an absolute rip-off and as well stating it hardly had any cheese on it. I’ve been dining in, doing takeout and delivery from royal almost 40 years and now it’s just a joke how bad of quality the food is coming out of there at any of their locations. I used to stand behind royal being one of the best pizza places in the city but there is no way they would recommend it to anyone now.

Pizza is incredible, however if ordering lots for work functions make sure to ask them to label the pizza, so that people with food sensitivities can more easily determine what is safe (ingredients hide under cheese so easily)

For 6 itty bitty chicken wings, it was over $13.00. That is almost $2.00 per wing. Waste of money. They are extremely slow for both take out & dining in.
