I gave one star cos they provided a glass of water at least at the restaurant,
We went to the restaurant no one there and was waiting and waiting, then we went out again and again they came and they gave a menu and water and vanished again, and we waited till and left, and i dont think they even noticed or cared.

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered lamb curry and tandoori chicken, but the tandoori chicken was overcooked and tough. My wife contacted the restaurant to report the issue, and the customer service representative offered to replace the food.
However, when my wife returned the food, only three pieces of tandoori chicken were provided as a replacement, despite having ordered a full plate. The owner explained that there is no return policy and was quite disrespectful during the conversation. When I called to address the matter, the owner threatened me over the phone, saying, “Come to my restaurant, and I’ll see you.” My wife, feeling scared, contacted the police, who responded to the situation.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering dining at this restaurant. The new owner’s behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, and the quality of the food did not meet expectations. It is essential for businesses to address customer concerns in a professional and respectful manner, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. As a result, I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Thank you.

Their food quality is decreasing every day. The fish tikka and tandoori chicken are undercooked and lack flavour. I’m extremely disappointed in them because the food here used to be so delicious but now it looks like you guys aren’t putting in the same effort as you used too.
Tbh i wont recommend this restaurant.I had a very bad experience after i tried their roasted chicken and chicken tikka. It was totally a waste of money. It wasn’t tasty at all.
Hello Owner: Could you kindly ask your chef to reduce the use of artificial colors in your food? Adding green color to mint chutney and excessive coloring to dishes like tandoori chicken is unnecessary and unappealing. Additionally, the lamb biryani is consistently problematic—it’s so tough that it takes two people to split the meat. This has happened multiple times despite us raising concerns before.
Please focus on cooking your meat properly and prioritizing flavor over artificial presentation. As customers who want to support a local neighborhood business, we returned despite past negative experiences. However, the quality seems to be declining with each visit.

Royal Sweets and Restaurant is an okay option for a casual meal, but there are definitely better choices in Edmonton. While the food is decent and the service is friendly, it didn't stand out as exceptional. The menu offers a variety of dishes, but some flavors felt a bit basic compared to other local spots. It's a fine place if you're in the area, but for those seeking something more memorable, there are certainly other restaurants worth trying.
