Customer service is not up to expectation. Shawarma is dry and there is no sauces in it. Tastes like chicken fry inside a wrap. Nothing special about the food . Very basic food . Taste like old food.

We ordered platter, not enough quantity for one person. Won’t recommend this ever. Didn’t even receive a glass of water with our food . Have to order a bottle of water separately . Need improvement in customer service and food . Not worth the money at all

I went here with my sister and her husband for the first time. I've never really had this type of food before and all I can say was that I've been missing out for a while now because it's absolutely delicious.

I arrived from the Middle East in 2023. I've been looking for a good Lebanese or Syrian restaurant since then.
I finally visited Sahara, and let me tell you. It's outstanding.

Don’t go on New year’s eve,
The place is usually good and food is delicious,
But we paid 80$ per person but the food wasn’t worth it, even no pop or a cup of water included so u only had to buy a 5 $ Nestle water bottle,
Also they said to bring your own shisha and they promised to supply the Charcoal but surprisingly they charged people 20$ per shisha just for Charcoal which was not nice at all, very cheap service.

I went here for the NYE night. $80 per person. It was chaotic from the beginning but it’s packed so that’s understandable. To my surprise though my $80 plate does not include any drinks ok fine go get a drink it’s $5 for a pop a table of four it’s $20. You do not even get complimentary water but don’t think about getting a water cup they only sell bottles.
Ok fine everything else was okay it’ll be a good night. Expect they encourage you to bring your own shisha we call before hand and ask about the process and they say they’ll supply you coals only to come find out they’re charging you for coals too. The music is blasting so you can’t even try to ask about this.
The food was subpar. The “ appetizer “ dishes were okay but the way everything came out was disorganized for the barbecue they give you 1 only plate of a chicken , kafta and beef skewer. That’s 3 skewers for 4 people. Don’t worry though the rice will come out 10 minutes later. To top it off they do give you ONE piece of sushi! How nice. I left wondering what our $320 went too? Was it the entertainment? They did also advertise “ giveaways and door prizes” which definitely did not happen.
All in all I don’t care about the money but it’s the principle this is a business that’s doing well clearly but seriously you can’t even include a drink in your set menu that’s EIGHTY dollars?
Next year I think I’ll save my money and go get a 5 star meal instead.

Recommended dishes: Sandwich
Vegetarian options: Salad, Spinach dish, Eggplant dish (Baba Ghannouj), Hummus
Dietary restrictions: My husband realized the Burger came with fries when they brought the plate. When he told Rana he can't eat fries she offered to bring him salad. They brought him a lathe portion of Tebbouleh salad.
That was much appreciated by him.
Kid-friendliness: My husband and I have just finished dinner at the Sahara Restaurant in Edmonton. We had a nice dinner. The young lady helping us, Rana, was nice and accommodating.
Jamel was also nice and pleasant.
We had the Tenderloin skewers dish, fries, Smack Burger and Calamari.
We didn't have dessert.
We will certainly come back.
The restaurant has a new menu, as well as new variety of Sushi dishes (which it did not have before)

First time visiting this restaurant, adventurous spirit. The experience was very enjoyable. We elected to go with a set menu that included a wide selection of cuisine of Lebanon. Fantastic flavours.

Ordered on skip the dishes not only is the food amazing but the staff was so kind to me! He gave me salad because I wasn’t able to add it on the app, he called me to make sure I liked the food and customer service was just amazing! The food is so fresh and cooked to perfection! I literally have nothing to say besides positive things! This is a north side gem! Always has been! If you ever want to order some good Mediterranean food this is your spot!
