It is best sushi in Edmonton!!!! 5 years with SAKANA! We tried a few locations with others sushi and we were disappointed. We always come back here! Justin - the owner and his team always friendly and nice! Highly recommend Sakana sushi!!!!

To Die For. Absolutely amazing in every aspect. The smoked salmon rolls are just divine.
My friend and I went there on a Saturday evening and the place had 1 other couple sitting there waiting for their food. Our waitress was friendly but the service was very very slow. We waited for 1 hour for all of our food to arrive. The sushi is very mediocre, you can taste that it's not fresh, definitely previously frozen and then thawed out. Even their egg omelette sushi was thawed out because they were ice cold and wet with condensation. The presentation of the food looked amazing but the taste was subpar. Maybe it was a 1 off experience judging by other people's reviews but there are better sushi restaurants around the city.

Cravings satisfied! We recently had the pleasure of trying the Bento Box and Sushi Platter and I was thoroughly impressed! The Bento Box was a delightful mix of fresh, flavorful dishes, with the perfect balance of savory chicken, perfectly seasoned rice, and a crisp, refreshing salad. The portion size was generous, and everything was beautifully arranged.
As for the Sushi Platter, it was simply fantastic! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the fish melted in your mouth. Each piece was expertly prepared with vibrant colors, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail. It’s clear that quality ingredients and skillful preparation are at the heart of this place.
Overall, both the Bento Box and Sushi Platter were delicious, satisfying, and a great value for the price. I’ll definitely be coming back!
