Not sure if there are new owners… but we had our first very poor experience at this restaurant. Firstly, we had ordered two starter salads as appetizers. Not only did we have to remind them of this order, it came out on one large plate at the end of our meal. The prime rib and braised beef were very obviously microwaved and lukewarm. We attempted multiples times to explain this to the young man from the kitchen, who would walk away in the middle of our conversation.
Our server was genuine though. The manager had explained that she was new but none of it was her fault. He comped one of the meals for us and packed up our Ceasar salad.
Anyway, this restaurant has lost a frequent customer. I hope they stop sacrificing quality for convenience, as their high prices have not changed.

Haven’t been here in a beat, Reno’s look fantastic and tonight’s Lobster feast was amazing!!! Madison did a great job pairing our wine and taking care of us. The manager came by to check in and was so nice. Truly an Edmonton Classic that has changed with the times, but the food was and continues to be top drawer at reasonable prices and excellent portions! BTW- the lobster was the best we’ve had in edmonton in over 2 decades!

The food was mediocre for the price. My Wagyu meatballs were very dry and there was no smoked cheese inside as described in the menu.

Great service, but order king crab legs. Wife a half and my self a full. It was served, the wife’s portions was a quarter. While mine was a half. Crack open the crab for it to it to barely being thawed in the middle.

We had dinner here for our 32nd anniversary. What a wonderful experience with our waiter Steve who was attentive, amazing and made us feel he enjoyed serving and having discussion with us through our experience at the Sawmill Calgary Trail Edmonton. Linda & Bill Swan.
Thank you Steve for the great recommendations and great service! We look forward to coming back.
Happy to share our recent night out with family, 11 of us in total. We booked the Founders Room that seats 12 for an awesome private dining experience. Steve, our waiter looked after us exceptionally well with great service and a fun sense of humour. Food was great. Overall nice night out!

Had the buffet for lunch, good selection, roast beef was a little chewy. Somewhat costly for what you get compared to other locations.
